| We open up Regions in Menahga Friday night at 8:00 vs. either Alexandria or Ashby. They were supposed to play last night (Sunday) but were rained out and no make-up date has been scheduled as of this morning. They technically have until Friday to decide the seeding but I will let everybody know when we find out.
Since Midway is technically the host of the tournament, we will have to help out as much as possible and will need volunteers to help as well. We need to help with the fields when we aren’t playing, and anything else that needs to be done. The Region schedule is posted on the Welcome page so you can see the game times.
Here is what we need:
-Field work. We need to help Charlie and Kyle as much as possible.
-Announcer. Johnny B. is going to be announcing at the new field, so we need an announcer for 2 games Saturday and 1 on Sunday at the old field. If we are available we should just have a player do it, but there will be some conflicts so please work on finding somebody.
-Official Score Keepers. We can just do it for our game on Friday, and I will do it when we are not playing but we will need others as well.
-Ticket / Admission Takers. We don’t have anybody for this, as far as I know, yet. We will need this for Friday for our game and for both fields Saturday and Sunday.
-Concessions are being taken care of by the school / Student Council.
The Region is supplying baseballs, score books for the official score keeper, tickets for the gate, programs, etc.
Friday we can talk about who should be where for Saturday and Sunday.

| - i'll echo what mike said pretty much, essentially plan on making yourself available all weekend to do whatever is asked of you whether it be from charlie or one of us, only real exception is if you have to work (steve and brandon)
- chuke also told me he will be around to help charlie out with the fields which is greatly appreciated
- for our game friday night we will hit at the field at 6:30, unis: blue tops/grey pants and for saturday blue tops and white pants
- in the words of the former #7: "fire up!"

| Alexandria beat Ashby so we will be playing Ashby first round.
