We are doing the draft again this year. The actual draft will be held on the 29th of August at Aj’s Restaurant in West Warwick right after the Golden Gopher Softball Steak fry. The actual Tournament will be held on 9/11/2010.
That will be a Saturday, the day before Fall Ball starts. It is open to ALL Coventry players & will look to outsiders to fill in gaps
Managers for this year are Bob Dutilly, Mike DeMonti, Mike DelPadre
Invites have been extended to Tom McGrath & Josh Dionne but have not confirmed.
I will be looking for 3 alternate managers based on player participations
I will post rules soon
$20 per player and again all money raised will go back to Charity within our own community.
Last year we purchased $400 in Turkey’s for family’s who needed them and hope to do a lot more this year.
Please see me over the time of playoffs to sign up and state what position you would like to be listed as.

| gopher the weekend before fall ball is the usssa E/D/C regionals which is mandatory for all travel teams .... most of the best coventry guys play tournaments .... also the 29th is the dans place/farmdogg/ coors light pig roast and beer blast .... you will have a better turnout if you do the tournament mid fall ball you could then incorporate fall ball players as well

| Yes Ryno, the draft party count was low last year but we had over 70 players participate last year. This is year were going to have a few new players get involve and I hope it to be as successful as last year if not better

| Small group, but a rambunctious one. That marked my second to last encounter with PNA mudslides which have now joined the vodka martini on my DO NOT DRINK list. I think that was the night I tripped and fell into the wall while attempting to Wii bowl. At least that's what I'm told. It's all a bit fuzzy.

I think there is a UTrip Worlds warm up tourney, but I could be mistaken, if so I would assume most teams going away would want to play in that.

| gopher players make up teams .... if you have a even number of teams your bracket and pools will be even .... if you pick a date that has nothing going on you will have more players .... the 11th is the last tournament before the worlds we are playing and allstate C and D are prolly playing too ...meaning the last chance for teams to get reps and swings before the worlds ... its your call just saying there is NOTHING OCTOBER 3RD ... just trying to help you did say you wanted a better turnout .... lmk if you switch and have room for me to draft

| I have looked at all dates offered to me and i think it is in the Draft's best interest to change the date to the 10/02/2010
With that being said, I will have waiver sheets for guys to sign up with for what position they want to go into the draft as.
I will be at Foster this weekend to and if you need me to come to other fields just send a text 374-9611

| HEY so when is the draft? this sounds pretty fun, i dont look like much when you see me lol i finished mmy season batting .541 and i played second, catcher, pitcher, midfield, and right field. so where ever im needed i dont mind at all.
