Personally I don't have any preference of how the State Tournament brackets are set up, however I do have one idea and it's open for debate.
In high school hockey and basketball tournaments the coaches of the participating schools meet to determine the seeds. Could we do this for the Class A State Tournament?

| Lets do it. 1) Tonka 2)Park
The rest can get shuffled around because they don't matter. if you argue this, you are wrong.

| Agreed this is most likely. However, can we get a bracket with seeds, times, and dates?

| Thanks Gator Chomp. Different set up this year. But I kind of like the re-seeding when the East/West meet.

| A couple things.
Gator - the same format, times and dates are applicable for the Skyline and St. Paul Leagues. The format is a 1-year trial, but it will be very hard to change I'm guessing because it's come down to essentially the same 5 or 6 people doing all the work for a week and a half and now with this format their workload is reduced significantly. I'm not 100% behind it by any means, but I'm also not willing to put in my time to flip burgers, etc. so I have no grounds to complain. I'll play or watch, but that's the extent of my commitment. Based on the cries for help the last several years 99.9% of you feel the same way I do.
Hurto - Congrats on advancing. Your idea is worth some discussion for sure but my first thought would be to make it all work correctly all playoffs would need to coincide with each other meaning some leagues (teams) would have a shortened season. It could be fun, but as you know from reading this everyone thinks they play in the best league. From what I can tell over the years is the top 4 or 5 teams in each league are interchangable. I'm not sure how we'd determine the seedings.
