| First game was 8-7. I believe the second one was 13-7, but not sure. Knight put on a HR show and nearly broke Ryno's hand with a line drive. Honestly, two pretty sloppy games. It wasn't the type of play you'd expect to see in the semi finals. The umpires were excellent. Several close calls and I think they got every one right. No complaints by either team which is rare these days.

| 12-9 17-10 Botelho Sweeps Anger. We cant play a better more well rounded game. And, of course we are lucky. Several lasers hit by VFW went right at a glove. VFW has a bunch of great players who happen to be real decent guys and showed some grace in defeat. Hinske Duffy Espo Playa Ryman Demo Lemme and all their guys wished us well. 9 days out of ten they beat us. Just not yesterday. Ryman has clearly established himself as a league wrecking ball and professional softball hitter and may be soon the most sought after free agent in Coventry Softball History ( technically most of us are year to year free agent ). Duffy is so good so calm its like playing softball with Cool Hand Luke. Espo is a top ten outfielder in the state and just another great great hitter. Tommy of course is a top 4 coventry pitcher right up there with Teddy Benny and Rob Raymond. For us, Jeff Considine hit 3 clutch homeruns. Dutilly hit a three run homerun...righthanded. Ernie did what he is paid to do so no highlight mention for him. Nicky Prata is a singles machine and Tom Sevigny embodies the best in softball....grit, determination , solid D and hustle....4 Finals in a row for us...yeah, I know....how do we do it? I dont know. Hats off to CM for winning their first championship in a few years. I wont be there to congratulate you...vaca planned for months. Didnt think we would make the finals quite frankly. Sunday should be another great day for Coventry Softball.

| LB4LB, just for you, I will make my prediction for this week and we all know, whoever I pick the total opposite will come true so Moulton in 3.
Now that the evil empire known as Artie Karate has lost,sorry Artie but you are hated just like Steinbrenner was,lol, I root for a tie.
Sorry I won't be there to watch Jackson go o-fer because he will probably be shitting his pants being the finals and all, as my C team is in the Nationals in CT.
Good Luck to both teams, should be a great finals.

You know you can't believe everything you hear, so I will clarify it for you and anybody else that gives a fuck, which they shouldn't.
I believe it would have something to do with Broz and Al lance.
Broz and I were on the same teams for 20 plus yrs and Al a good part of that also, we talked and decided maybe because we had all fulfilled our 3 yr committment, it would be nice to finish out our careers together on one team,so we decided to play fall ball together to see if they fit in with my current team, no definite plans for next yr. I'm an asshole for a lot of things I've done but this isn't one of them.
Now if we took Playa,Duffy Ernie, Neil and Kirby then people can bitch.

| Tuck, you can have that one trick pony Dutilly. For every 3 run bomb that he hits right handed ( the greatest AB in the history of Coventry Softball Playoffs ) you gotta swallow a soft 500 average , terrible fielding and a snaggle toothed perv coming on to your pretend softball girlfriend every sunday afternoon. ( ernie, if this hits a little too close to home as you are reading this..sorry..I am describing Dutilly , not you. You never hit a righthanded 3 run dagger in the playoffs)

| I intended to mention this a couple of posts ago...thanks to Rob Raymond, Eddie Martin, Beaver, Josh Dionne ,Gopher Nate, Google, Heath, Nards ( and hopefully Im not forgeting anybody ) ..I thought is was very cool for you to support the league and attend the playoff games between Botelho/Anger Management.
