| The Snurdbirds will represent Region 16C as the Runner-Up for the 2010 State Tourney. We open the tournament on Friday 8/20 at 6:00 in Bird Island vs. the 5C champs - Kasson Coyotes. Players be there before 4:00, we will be told where to hit when we git there.
I have 3 rooms for Friday night, and 1 for Saturday (Shakopee plays Saturday at 7:30 in Willmar). The team will pay for rooms on Friday. If you aren't staying Friday, please let me know or post on here so I can cancel a room if need be. I only got 1 room for Saturday because Jake and Shroom are the only 2 who said they are for sure staying.

| "STATE TOURNAMENT!? Are you kidding me!? SATET TOURNAMENT!?" - Jim Mora if he had any association with Midway
- uniforms: blue tops white pants for friday night, start packing now don't forget the little things like socks (puck) belt hat etc...
- we should leave menahga no later than 12:30, we can grab a bite to eat along the way and should arrive in Bird Island around 4 which gives us time to meet the host, hit and take our photo (again I know I know)
- anyone staying beyond friday let me know so I can get you passes to get into games all tourney for days we do not play

| Hit at Midway, 6:00 tonight.
We are hitting in Olivia tomorrow (25 miles south of Willmar, 5 miles west of Bird Island), be there at 3:30 to get loose and take a good round. After going through Willmar on 71, take a left on 212. When you get to Olivia, take a left on 9th street and the BP field (Henton Park) is 3-4 blocks down 9th St.

| - pretty much go with the same plan for last week:
- hit @ midway thursday night 6:00
- meet at the jv field in menahga and take off at noon... stop in wadena and grab a bite to eat
- uniforms for friday blue tops/grey pants, but bring the whites also
- you should be thinking about where or if you are staying ahead of time, don't wait until after the game to make up your mind, mike is not your chaperone and should not be relied on to make your arrangments for you

Final Record: 32-6
Class "C" started with 227 teams in 2010. The State Tournament started with 32. The Snurdbirds win 6 in a row to take the title and become #1

| - There will be an open house celebration from 12:00 - 3:00 at the VFW in Menahga this Saturday September 11th to honor the 2010 State Champion Snurdbirds
- Due to scheduling conflict the celebration will move to the Menahga Muni from 3:00 - well insert your own time or joke here...
- We look forward to seeing all the fans and players this Saturday as this is celebration not only for the players but anyone associated with Midway and baseball in the area...
