Park vs. Cobras game is at Parade tonight. It should be a good one. Winner gets a trip to St. Paul, loser is done for the season. A couple of very good teams fighting to make it Weekend #2 The gates have been a little down on the Westside. Come out and support Class A Baseball.

Bring your cooler and enjoy a beautiful night with the best backdrop in the state to watch a game.

Yes, the backdrop is great and the field should be in decent shape as well. The city of Minneapolis has been working feverishly..hard..ok they will have the lines chalked, gates open, and scoreboard on. Over/Under on attendance - 100. I say over, who's with me! Could use youngsters to track down baseballs. Two bits for every foul ball.

I challenge St. Paul Commissioner Andre Lanoue that the ParkNational/Riverview will outdraw St.Paul/Skyline for the games tonight. We all know baseball was invented in St. Paul, but I say the West Side gets more fans at Parade than the East Side gets at Dunning. I offer up a $50 General Sports Gift Certificate. Just kidding Shawn. How about a burger of your choosing and all the popcorn you want at the PUB? Let's go West Side, no Twins game tonight, bring in your beverages and support Class A Baseball.

Nice work by the Stockmen team, 1-1 record and they move on to the next weekend. But an extra game being #2 seed might start to make them work a little. No playoff system is perfect, but holy cow. North End has had to bust their butts and go through a crap load of pitching I bet.

Yeah nice work, they beat a very sub par St Anthony team and then got smoked by the Shamrocks. But hey, I guess its all in the draw. Good luck the rest of the way.

Naturally, St. Paul is a much better baseball town therefore, St. Paul/"East Berlin" accepts the attendance challenge proposed by the "West Berlin" folks. Just spoke to "Commissioner Gordon"(Fat Boy)and we came up with a promotion for tonight. Tonight at Parade & Dunning it is "Unchecked Cooler Night" bring your favorite beverages and just sit back and enjoy a beautiful evening outside watching baseball. With the Twins off tonight, it doesn't get much better than that! At Dunning we will be continuing the traditon of trivia giveaways with Twins hats!!

The Road to Dunning continues this evening with two elimination games. Over at Parade Stadium, it is the rematch of Friday's game as St. Louis Park faces the Minneapolis Cobras. While over at Dunning Stadium we have a "classic" St. Paul Amateur League matchup as Air Freight takes on the North End Biscuts. Both games should be very entertaining...winners advance to next weekend while the losers start the offseason early.

Also at Dunning, Friends of St. Paul Baseball is selling raffle tickets for a brand new 2010 Chevy Camero...drawing to be held on Monday, August 23rd, 7pm @ Dunning Stadium...Tickets are $10 apiece, with the proceeds going to improve baseball in St. Paul. While at Dunning you can see the Camero along with the benefits this group has provided to make Dunning and the surrounding fields a great place for baseball.

Sounds good. I think we are giving away J. Botten hats at Parade tonight. There may be a Randy Moselle bobblehead available as well. OT throwing out the first pitch along with Enrico Palazzo singing the National Anthem. Ok, maybe none of those things will occur at Parade, but it sounds like Class A Cooler Night will suffice.

Sorry about that, I thought he left a few hats in the press box. Unfortunately, all he left was a dozen A.D. Starr/O.K. Kids baseballs.
