| Congrats on the big win. How did it get to be so bad? Was Athens off tonight? Were there alot of turnovers? Or was it just flat out better football by Pontiac? I know you're a Pontiac fan and would like to say it was because Pontiac is just better. Please give us what you saw tonight. Again congrats on the big win. Good Luck against LO.

| I never bought into the preseason Troy Athens hype, and this result shows exactly why. What legitimate reasons were there for this hype? Jake Duzey is only 1 player. There was no evidence that the supporting cast was any better. I now see them missing the playoffs with LO, Clarkston, Troy, West Bloomfield and OAA crossover left to play. Pontiac is the real deal. I gotta get out and see them play

| Bert! I'm glad to see that you're not one of those suckers that believed in the Athens hype! Finally someone who realises one kid cant do it by himself. Athens is still a better football team than last year no doubt about it. Just not playoff contender yet.

| Lake Orion-36 Rochester-7
Not as bad as the score suggests. At half time the score was 19-7. Lake Orion's offense had some nice, time consuming drives, while Rochester had a couple costly turn overs. RHS didn't seem like they were being dominated and had some nice plays on defense.

| Well. Opening kickoff athens fumbles ponitac scores with a run play for 20 yards. Athens throws interception return for touchdown. Pontiac fumbles 3 times on snap, athens recovers, only gets fieldgoal. Pontiac scores on kick return. 21-3 at the end of 1st. I'm a fan of everyone but athens couldn run the ball or pass or anything. Pontiac actually has great defense. It was 42-3 in the 2nd quarter and that was it.

| Went to the Pontiac Athens game. Pontiac does appear to be very good. Next week is going to be a huge test for them. 30-3 at the end of the first quarter.

| I was at LO/Rochester and thought the dragons totally dominated that game, and basically just had it on cruise control after the 1st quarter. I'm sure the wind had something to do with it, but the LO offense stayed mainly on the ground with Stevenson running for big chunks at a time. Hardest north and south runner LO's had in awhile. LO's defense is small...but very quick. Don't think Roch had a play of over 15 yards. The one score was on a short field after an LO turnover. LO's D definetly dominated Roch offense. Shocked to see Pontiac man-handled Athens. Sets up an early season OAARED tilt next week at Wisner.
