| So I've never seen lake orion play. Both are 2-0 someone has to lose though. The next 3 weeks will show how good pontiac is since they play lake orion, rochester and clarkston
So who wins. Lake orion or pontiac. And by how much?

| I haven't seen L.O. yet either. I do think Pontiac has the potential to keep this game close, and possibly even win. I have a feeling Lake Orion comes away with a 2nd half victory. 28-20

| You boys are in for a treat ! Pontiac's big win over Athens will create much more buzz for this game. Both teams will be tested early and often. If I picked this game before the season I would say LO by 28. Given Pontiac's good start, I'll say LO by 14. Should be a great game though. LO 37 Pontiac 23

| Went to LO v. Oxford and here's what i see out of LO.
To start Stevenson is just a flat out beast he can run inside, outside, cutback, walk the dog, and drink the gatorade all while stealing your girlfriend by scoring the touchdown. This kid can do it all.
Charette, when he is not handing off to stevenson, is throwing the ball like no other. He has a great arm and excellent accuracy.
As for Pontiac, from what I've heard about their two games, they have explosive speed able to change the game in a matter of seconds.
Kick return for a touchdown, 1 pick six, and pounded Athens into a hole.
Now onto defense, buddy of mine from Rochester said for the first couple of possesions Rochester could almost throw the ball at will. But couldnt get anything going running the ball. Which leads me to believe that the Phoenix are going to have trouble doing the same thing they did to Athens. I do not know how well they can pass the ball. Can anyone tell me if they throw the ball well?
Overall: I believe there will be alot of hype and anticipation for this game in the city of Pontiac. Lake Orion will bring a very big crown as well. This all makes for an exciting first 10 minutes when everyone is into the game. But for me, I see Pontiac making offensive mistakes with the football and Lake Orion capatilizing everytime. I dont think Pontiac has the pass game to compete with Lake Orion if they can't run.
Final: Lake Orion 38 Pontiac 17

| "throwing the ball at will".. it looked like ONE step drops and LO starting jumping the routes and that ultimately doomed them because they couldn't do anything else. I REALLY hope Pontiac won't be expecting another Troy Athens because overconfidence will make this one a severe beating.

| I don't think that's a secret, but what I said is true whether it's biased or not! LO is bigger, stronger, and faster than Troy Athens at every position minus tight end but they don't even use one, so whatever. If Pontiac can somehow make LO fold like a futon like they did Athens, 42-3 two weeks in a row might be more likely. But five TOs in the first half alone..? prooooooooobably not going to happen. I want Pontiac to be good. I was happy for them last year and was pulling for them in their game against Eisenhower. It would be nice to have another rival-ish team and good for the league, overall.

| Nice comments. I think pontiac has a lot of potential. Many people are sleeping on them. The coaches really have them playing as a team which is a good thing when u combine to rival schools. I have a feeling they will up set lake orion by 3 or they will lose by 10. I feel it will be a great game to watch

| I see Lake Orion winning this one...but now we will see what Pontiac has got?
Pontiac does not have to win this game to come out a WINNER!
If Pontiac plays hard, holds Lake Orion under say 30 pts. and hang a couple of TDs up themselves ... I will be a believer in Pontiac this year!

| Lake Orion 44 Pontiac 13 Stevenson scores from 40, 70 and 75 yards. This kid is a %&$#@ beast ! Ney ran the sweep to perfection, several runs of 10+ yards. LO defense was awesome !
Time to take notice gents, the Dragons are FOR REAL ! The high powered O gets alot of pub. but the LO D looks like one of the best in a long time. Three games in and the D has been dominant. No one has been able to run against this D, they are extremly quick, and fly to the ball. A little undersized, but they make up for it with their team speed. The cornerbacks are a little concerning, they go 5'6 and 5'9 and WR's have been able to get behind them. Something for coach Tooley to work on !
