| Last night the early games did not conclude till 845 we didnt get to start our game till 900 at 830 we asked umpire on game time and he said no rush but when we got done with our second game he was rushing us to hurry up its been like this for several weeks now and its always the same umpire i know season is almost over but i think it is something that needs to be addressed for next year

| Quit whining ...hustling on and off the field isn't a crazy concept and is part of the game...if ur too lazy to handle that play golf or go bowling

| im not whining im just stating a fact games are supposed to have a time limit and when he lets the early teams take a 20 min break between games and late games dont start till 900 its ridiculous

| The last inning started at 8:28 and there was a 10 minute break between games so i don't know where you are coming up with your statement. Just so you know that UMP has been a part of our league for over 30 years and has been on legendary teams.

| Must be the same "officials" who your coordinator umm likes to do games instead of giving other "officials" a chance to do some that pay his dues each year! I know of 8 that don't get called for the fall league and only in Marion.

| Sounds like you need some cheeze to go with the wine your drinking. Since the league schedules umpires and there were just a hand full that wanted to work fall league you got what was left, that were not working other sports. As far as the true reason (time linits) goes I for one do NOT take a 10 minute break in between games. I would rather get them over so that the later games don't go till midnight. I've always suggested time limits but this in not the case for marion. You start 15 minuts after 6pm and tack on another 15 because player can make it then. So there's 30 minutes. I do believe that the first two game should be over NLT 8:10. BUT even when they are done at that time we still run into the problem (Oh I'm still waiting on one or two guys.) Another 15 min to wait. So to make a long story short WHAAAAAAA!!!! You want to be an umpire? We are short handed.
