| Southfield 28 Pontiac 14 Final
Huge let-down for Pontiac, sadly they will be missing the playoffs.

Was tied at half time 14-14, looking to be a great game. In the first half, Rochester could not establish a real running game, yet was making plays through the air. The entire 3rd quarter they continued to try to run the ball even though Adams was sending the house. Why keep running when Bradley was picking them apart? Disappointed by the coaching out there, could have been a much better game...gotta give credit to Adams though, they came out of half time hungry and wanted it more, and coached better. Frustrating to watch as a Falcon fan.

| Wouldnt you think both Pontiac and Troy have a good shot to get in the playoffs at 5-4? I do.

| Troy has better shot, reason being they are only team to beat Romeo this year and the playoff Bonus points keep on climbing with every romeo win. But yes, Pontiac also has a legit shot to make playoffs.

| Right on, bossman. That playcalling left a bad taste in my mouth, although I liked seeing those LO plays mixed in there.. not sure they have the personnel for it but I take that as a compliment. Offense and special teams put WAYYY too much pressure on the D who played real well. Better than that final score indicates for sure. Adams scoring on the opening kickoff despite fumbling it, very flukish, then the onside opening 2nd half kickoff successfully.. ugh. SO frustrating to watch.

| I can understand them trying to run the ball, Rochester's run game has been quite solid this year, but and experienced line and devoe running strong. however, after the first half, they should have realized the run game was not there, and continue to exploit the blitzing linebackers with posts and slants (which were working all first half). just so confusing. tough loss, but we got Royal Oak next week! if we don't win that...i give up...

| Royal Oak may honestly never win another game...the situation there is THAT BAD. You guys are still going to the playoffs for the first time in a long time, congrats.

| Yeah, i don't really believe Rochester can lose this game! Haha! This may sound bad, but I am really excited for this game just to see what it really is that is causing Royal Oak these terrible years. Is it talent? coaching? attitude? all three?! But yes, I am obviously very proud of these boys this season!!

| One last thing! I realized that Adams first few scores were all either on special teams or after they were given a short field (in Rochester territory) Mistakes like that against a good team is gunna cause troubles. Okay, i'm done this this game! Movin on! GO BLUE

| Their coach is 0-26...seriously fire everyone. It was embarrassing to watch LO @ Royal Oak last year, and I'm sure this year was just as bad. I believe there are around 1700 kids at the school...there has to be some talent.

| Congrats to Clarkston for there win, but Farmington would win if they played again. Clarkston is strong but they had no answer for Farmingtons D they might have had 4 1ST downs. Farmington fumbled it away. That's the facts.

| I want to chime in and say that the Adams vs Rochester game was a great atmosphere last night ...huge crowd (impossible parking) both bands and cheer squads! The football teams played a tough, hard hitting game and except for the 2nd half were equally matched ...Great X Over Game INDEED!
Surprised to hear about the Farmington loss. A DEFENSIVE battle? I expected Farmington to ring up some points...credit to Clarkston's defense as that is one tough Falcon team!
Southfield's defeat of Pontiac is some what surprising ... BUT that is the Southfield team that woulda ...shoulda...coulda been all season. The Jays have the talent but for some reason did not show up consistently this season? Too bad for Pontiac as this game meant everything to get into the playoffs!
What is with Stoney Creek? Most felt that they would have more than 2 wins this season?
How about the big game today!!??? The LO Dragons vs the FHH Hawks?!! HUGE X Over Game! Both teams are loaded the Dragons have ground control while the Hawks rule the air ways! I predict this to be a close game ...the way FHH manhandled Adams I see the Hawks giving Lk Orion a run for their money!
An interesting, surprising, fun season in the OAA..I look now to the post season and HOPE our conference does great?!

| While it may be true, a rematch between Clarkston and Farmington would yield different results it is not as if Farmington gave it away. Both teams had major mistakes and injuries. Clarkston's defense held a high power offense to 0 points while Farmington shutdown what has been all season a low production offense. A lot of what if's on both sides, if both QBs don't go down, if Clarkston doesn't fumble on the 1 yard line AGAIN, if Farmington's special teams doesn't score, you can go on and on. It comes down to this, both teams were evenly matched, both teams had fumble issues (I think 7 between them), both had injuries at critical positions. It was hard nosed football at it's best! Looking forward to the LO and FHH game for more of the same!

| 200211- I dont know what you were watching. Farmington had no answer for the Wolves D either.
Clarkston also fumbled the ball away more than once.
This was about as evenly matched a game as you will see. If they played again, you'd probably see about the exact same game. Low scoring, hard hitting, and close. In fact, these 2 might play to a 0-0 draw if theyd let them in a rematch.
