| FHS fumbled at own 36 on games first possession but Clarkston's Joey Goss fumbled it back to Falcons on 1st&goal at FHS 1. Game scoreless till FHS scored with 4:40 left in 2nd quarter on thrilling 78y punt return by Jason Wilson but FHS missed XP to lead 6-0. FHS held Clarkston to 2 1st downs (both on that ill-fated Wolves drive in the 1st quarter) until Evan Montgomery scored on 46y run with 0:18 left in the 3rd. TD came after FHS lost 4th fumble of night. Dae'von Scarber inexplicably decided to lateral and Clarkston recovered ensuing fumble and scored their only TD of the game on the next play. XP following Montgomery TD run decided the game. FHS quarterback Matthew Scarber left game mid-way through third. Went down in a heap without being hit. Returned after left ankle was taped, but missed 3 series. Clarkston QB Nick Demattia was injured the series after Scarber got hurt and did return. Was not in game when Clarkston scored as Goss replaced him at QB. John Harrington and entire Harrison coaching staff was in attendence. FHS hosts Harrison to decide OAA White next Friday night. Both Hawks and Falcons are 6-0 in conference play. Loss is 1st season for FHS (7-1) while Wolves improve to 7-1 overall.
