| How does this team compare to the squad that went to the finals a couple of years ago. I was thinking them or CC would be the team to have a chance to knock off Canton.
Well CC hasn't looked great the last few weeks and LO didn't look good Saturday. Can they rebound and make a run at Canton or are they not as good as I thought

| Depends. Captain Clutch was showing up in '08, with a good surrounding cast. Captain Limp Noodle Arm (also with a very good surrounding cast) showed up on Saturday and the last two games against Clarkston last year as well. Who do you think will come to play this upcoming Friday and beyond? I'd say it's gut-check time. I really don't mean to make fun of the kid, I just don't understand what the problem is. Apparently better teams can use telekinesis to slow his arm down or something.
On that note, might be 0-0 at the end of regulation Friday evening. Scary to think what an ACTUAL good defense is going to do...

| IMO The 2010 team probably has more talent then the 2008 team, can't say if there a better team though. The 2008 team just found ways to win games, that special combination of players that just played above their skill level. If I remember correctly though there were several players on the 2008 team that played both sides of the ball. I don't think anyone does that on the 2010 team. It's tought to say this after last week, but I think this years team has a much better offense than 2008. The 2008 team had a better defense.

| I have not seen Clarkston play yet this year.
OAAwhatever, are you saying that Clarkston's D is that much better than Harrison's D ?

| 2008 key players (I think 10-12 players playing at the next level). Offense QB - Charette(fresh) RB - Bruce, Oakes, Stevenson(soph) WR - Heath, Lott, Ney(soph), Nelson OL - Benson, Walker, Fehlberg Defense DL - Gros LB - Gill, Hayes, Serzo DB - Heath, Lentz, Fleck, Chanthakhot
2010 key players Offense QB - Charette RB - Stevenson, Hudson WR - Zott, Ney, Schaenzer, Ester OL - Williams, McGhee, Luby Defense DL - Frye LB - Gall, Fine DB - Misiak, Dolinski
I may have inadvertenly missed some.

| I would be surprised if the Clarskton D is much better than Harrison's but we'll see.
I saw the 06 LO team a few times and I thought they were more impressive than both. Either way I'd love to see LO take it to Ford field again for the OAA.

| I guess the question is who has Lake Orion beaten to deserve all the hype? Are they imposters, just not as good as we thought or had a bad game against the Hawks.

| Absolutely about the 06 team. That team shoulda/woulda/coulda been Lake Orions first trip to Ford Field, with a good shot at a winning it all. They were 10-0 and ranked #1 in the state right? When Clarkston came in and crushed the dreams of the Dragon faithful. Great coaching by Clarkston in that game I remember.

| Please don't mention '06 again...ugh there was no reason we should not have won states that year haha.
'08 team did just find ways to win that year. Charette was incredibly clutch, especially leading a game winning drive against Ike (the only scoring of that game), going 4/12 but with 3 TDs including 2 on 4th down in the comeback against Romeo, and making the key throw to set up Heath's miracle FG against Stevenson.
This year, I think whomever wins the LO/Clarkston regular season game will lose in the playoffs...it seems to happen that way about 50% of the time they rematch each other in the playoffs and I just have a feeling this year might be one of those years.
