| I know this isn't a new trend but I've been going to games all over so far this season and it seems like "everybody" is playing not just a few but several underclassmen. There have always been freshman playing but this year it seems like either the freshman class has some real talent in our area or the area teams are hard pressed to field a solid team of upperclassmen. As for me, I like seeing the younger kids out there. One reason is it's fun and interesting watching how well these young kids mature and develop into more complete players by the time they're seniors. I think Tanner will be a great player by the time he graduates. So far I've seen Paoli, Borden, Austin, Scottsburg, and Brownstown all either start or rely heavily on freshman players. Henryville starts a freshman who might just be their best player. Unlike the college level where you get to see the freshman for one and done it's great that these local kids will be sticking around for awhile. And I haven't even touched on the sophomore class. There is plenty of talent in that class as well. Basketball is alive and well in our part of the state and I'm just hoping to get to see as much of it as I can.

| The thing I like about this years Rams team is that all the young guys are at least getting playing time that in the future will help them out...I even look at the Freshmen on the JV and see the same potential the Bosley kid and Stroud kid has impressed me on that along with the other Freshman players who play Varsity you could have by the time the Freshmen are Seniors could have a whole rotation of Seniors...The Varsity Rams once they get their playing styles to mesh together will be a tough team to face like I have said before so far out of the 1st 3 games the guys scoring the most will be back next season so s real good thing...the only dissapointment for me so far is during the Christian Academy game The Rams seemed like they couldn't find the "Killer Instinct" to put the game away and could have let them back into the game...but it takes time to get near perfection and the Rams are a few years away from getting there...

| West Washington has been playing extremely well but I think the Rams inconsistant scoring was probably more due to their age than the W.W. defense. The older they get the more consistant they'll get in all phases. I agree with you Shiz about it being good to see all of the experience these younger kids are getting and how it is going to pay off later. The future is bright, we just have to be patient.
