Author TOPIC: CHARGERS TOURNAMENT TEAM OVERVIEW by MCFFU

Entry #: 3649792
Team Name: Chargers (CT)

Final Standing: 16th

Record: 5-17

Total Points: 660 pts

Tournament Wins: 0

Status: Up

Following one of their worst years in their history, the Chargers competed strong in the World Championships after barely hanging on to their spot in the 16. Their circuit record was the worst in the 16 and that was due to inconsistent numbers at tournaments, no big play potential and an identity issue on both sides of the ball. The Chargers should be much better with their leadership back in place. Just as with most teams that struggle, they had inconsistency at the QB position all year. With this being said, their young QB (Joey Edmonds) played well in the World Championships and had them very close to winning a couple more games, including leading them to an upset over a very impressive Blaze team. If they can keep the team in Florida intact, and get more tournament games under their belt, the Chargers will be a respectable team on the circuit. Their upside is positive, but it all depends on commitment.
