The Young Gunz are the Rodney Dangerfields of flag football they don’t get any respect but they are a team you don’t want to face in a must win situation. Though they did not finish where they expected, they made the cut for Sunday and lost to a very solid New England Connection team that was fighting for respect as well. Quite possibly the best team in Connecticut, the YG’s have to start looking for some offensive game breakers to help their offense score more points. QB play was very adequate all weekend and their young QB has the tools to win, he needs more time behind center in big tournaments to be affective when they need him. The defense plays very strong but they have to carry the team late in games way too often. They can relieve pressure on the defense with big plays on offense. Look for the YG to add more offensive depth, experience and take another step in 2011.
