| Although combining leagues looks very appealing and easy to do from the surface, there is much much more involved in doing so and many other factors in this situation. I dont have any desire to dispute this situation on the message boards as I feel it will not be handled with maturity or open mindedness but become a huge dramatic jousting match.
From the beginning of this year I have told any team that I have been in contact with and reiterated in meetings that my approach was not to speak about or slander the Hartford league or its officials but rather put 110% into what I can control and that is the product I give you.
At this time I feel that what both leagues have to offer is good for the customers they market to and truly believe all teams(Hartford and Waterbury) will have a great spring. There is nothing wrong with having 2 successful leagues in CT. I have never ruled out the possibilty of some sort of joint venture, however I dont think rushing into it is the right choice at this time. I will continue to consider what I think will be the best situation for the future and long term.
