| Ive come up with a solution to get teams a great way to crown Cts best 9man league play team, but it will take help....
To quickly summarize, i am not looking to make a profit on teams from waterbury as of now, so i have decided to combine leagues free of charge...
How....
1.I will add the waterbury leagues schedule to the CFFLS site, along with their rosters and logos
2. The playoffs will be scheduled around the leagues teams to ensure they will be able to make playoff games
3. teams from the waterbury area will NOT be eligible for any cash or prizes the CFFL has to offer
4. If teams from waterbury area would like to be eligible for all prizes, they must submit $125 to the CFFL's prize pool..which includes trophies, weekly cash prizes, yearly awards and championship prizes.
5.Top 12 teams will make CT unified playoffs...bottom 12 will make open playoffs
6.Teams wins and losses will be added to CFFL's all time standings page along with their logos
7.If waterbury area team wins championship and doesnt add to prize pool...1st and 2nd place in the original CFFL will receive the championship and runner up prize
8. The waterbury area will be its own division not its own conference
9. I am looking for anyone interested to help with stats for waterbury to keep the leagues consistent. In hartford we pay the stat keepers $10 per game, but if you guys can work together with the few teams you have you can do it yourselves for free. and ill upload them to the site for FREE!
10.the waterbury league will play its own waterbury schedule
This will end the organization war for good and it will stop anyone from trying to deny the unfication of CT flag for whatever reason.
Teams/players please contact me or let me know with replies what your thoughts are and or contact me with any questions or concerns.
Come on now, if you guys dont agree to this i dont know what else i can do to give you the best flag footbball league play in America!!! And its all FREE!!!! lol Ill also be contacting key individuals that i feel can help with this.

| how about you stop racking your brain around this and worry about the hartford league. everybody has had enough of this merger bs. if teams dont want to play in hartford, then who cares.
for your "solution" to work, you would have to firstly work with the waterbury leagues president which will never happen. then theres the issue of where playoff games would be played, among many other problems with your plan. i think its time to put the merger idea to rest, and put your full effort in the upcoming spring year in hartford.

| mr no name why so much hate...ive clearly eliminated the middleman in this solution...most of your "waterbury" teams have contacted me in the last few weeks to GET THE MERGER DONE!!!!. whichever teams dont want to play they dont have to...ive only come across 1 person in this whole situation who does not want the leagues to combine...so should i assume you are the 2nd person??? i listen to the customners sorry if im trying to come thru...If a team cant make 1 trip to another area for the state playoffs. i dont know what to tell you...most teams will be playing just 1 game in the playoffs..FACTS....and if teams need the waterbury commisioners permission to play in a tournament...MY POINTS HAVE BEE PROVEN!!

| its basically a done deal, the teams can decide if they want to play or not...i make no money in the playoffs any way and its the original offer i offered the other league anyways... ill put them in our standings and we will seed the playoffs plain and simple..i really dont think the teams are against the merger tho they dont lose anything by merging..but...
after consulting with mike flaherty from the eagles..he had the idea that teams from waterbury who want in in the prize pool can enter with any amount they want and will double their money if they win the chip...
example team A from waterbury enters playoffs with $100 towards prize poool..plus another $150 for ref fees and they so happen to win the championship...they will win $500 prize
teams may still enter playoffs without anything towards prize pool but will not win any prizes
1st and 2nd place CFFL original teams will win the remainder of the prizes even if they dont win the championship...example $50 per team registered.
Again we will seed the teams whoever doesnt want to play doesnt have to
details will be continued to be updated as we sort this out..there is no need to consult anyone if your teams wants to play .. the playoff schedule will be made to fit your schedule!!!

| The whole merger talk is one thing, but the way you are talking about doing the playoffs is crazy. First, please just clear this up for me, you are going to take a certain amount of teams and it doesn't matter how many come from either hartford or waterbury but there will be very few crossover games? This doesn't seem correct. I think you would have to do it like an AFC/NFC format and bring in a certain amount from each league. Also having Waterbury teams possibly winning money in the playoffs or not winning depending on if they pay into it? So if they win the playoffs, what do they win? Does Chris pay them out? How can a team actually accept a trophy and call themselves "the best" if they didn't win the whole thing. Under your format what happens if there happens to be an equal amount of GCFFA teams and CFFL teams in the playoffs and just for arguement sake all CFFL teams lose first round. One of those teams (I would assume the highest seed) would be crowned champ of the league? Doesn't make sense. The attempt to merge and make a true CT champ is fine, but your proposal needs some serious work.

| the playoff format would be how weve always done it ..we copy the nfl format... the waturbury league will have no cross over games... also the waterbury league woulld be its own DIVISION not confference....
There will be 2 conferences..with divisons lets call them afc and nfc.... there will be the afc waterbury..afc hartford... nfc waterbury and nfc hartford...just an example
and then follow the nfl formnat with seeding. division winners will recieve the 1st round byes and highest seeds..
i repeat there will be no crossover games ...waterbury will be its own division...not conference...Does this help?

| ...and also about the prizes... the team who wins will be crowned the league champ...if the "hartford" teams dont win the chip...they still win the prizes theyve paid for...but they are not the champ

| To answer your question the waterbury teams with the best records would make the playoffs and they only have around 8 teams so there will be way more hartford teams in the playoffs. Cash will be using the records from the waterbury leage to figure out who makes the playoffs from there . No teams from waterbury and hartford will play eachother during the regular season. The waturbury league will not be able to win our hartford league money but will be able to double there money that they put in. For the 2 hartford teams that makes it the furthest will win the hartford money but woever wins the playoffs will be crowned the champs weather it is from hartford or Waterbury. For a waterbury team to double there money they would have to win the playoffs. If a hartford team wins the playoffs they will get 50 for every team that paid including the waterbury teams that paid. It is another option cash is putting out there to see who is the best in CT. If I have said anything wrong please correct me Cash

| So u giving the waterbury teams a chance to win a chip in our league as well as their league? Not feeling that I think you trying to hard to reach out to themif their not in this league this season they should not get a chance to do anything or win anything did chris agree on making it one chip?

| its not our league or their league..its 1 league ...this type of division needs to stop seriously...were not 2nd graders... when the knights and young gunz played in both leagues last spring...no one comoplained about them trying to win chips in both "leagues"
the only person who loses here is Antwon Blunt... Im essentially letting the other league keep the profits...But im ok with that...I could easily lie and tell you that all the waterbury teams paid ME and thats my "league" in waterbury..but im not... it is what it is...We are 1 league as of right now...and im willing to take the loss and let the other commissioner keep the profits for this season.
Eveyrthings the same except im letting the other leagues official keep the profits!
ive talked to %100 percent of teams of some shape or form about this merger and not only were they very much on board they loved it.... especially "hartford" teams...im only going to respond to ways to make this work from now on...its clear that teams want and players want one league.. so its also clear who you maybe mr.no name because no one has a problem with a merger except one individual ive talked to so far
Theres no need to mention chris or what he wants it what the teams want..
Teams can choose to be in our playoffs or not...if they choose not to...its clear this wasnt about whos the best and just playing for Chris...and honestly if teams are that spiteful to not compete in these playoffs just because.. we dont want them to play in our league...again its an option...no matter what i will track their standings and rosters and whichever teams decide to play we will welcome them ... if not goodbye.

| I havent posted on here for awhile but I got a few questions/concerns with this merger.
It seems like you are doing this without consulting with Chris. We cant have a league merger without you and Chris coming to an agreement first off. You cant just say we are merged, and have Chris think otherwise.
Another thing, I kind of agree with the person who said something about traveling to Waterbury for playoffs to be honest. Not every team is from Hartford, with our commute being from Hartford to Waterbury which is a hike on its own. We are from Enfield and most of our players come from Mass, You have Fearnun, and the Ravens who travel from Mass. Getting to Hartford alone is alot of work for some of us teams, now we have to travel another hour and some to play our playoff game there when we played every game at Colt Park? That seems kinda dumb.
This is not the same as the NFL AFC/NFC either. In the NFL even if you are in the AFC you still have out of division games. In this scenario, we would play our entire schedule vs. Hartford teams, then somehow be facing off vs. Waterbury teams in the playoffs. I think the best way to do this would be to have both leagues, and crown a champion in both leagues. Then have the Waterbury Champ play the Hartford Champ for a separate title at a neutral field. There is 30 something days left until the beginning of the season and the customers still dont even know what we are paying for yet. We need to get this together so the teams can figure out exactly what they are in for.

| there are only ten games...no matter how you like it...you can only play 10 teams total..so the idea of not competing outside the division and that meaning something doesnt have any merit here... the nfl has 16 games..and still teams can go years without playing each other...
as far as the merger....im basically creating an NCAA tournament....you have the big east, acc, big 10 etc etc....this format seems to work fine in the ncaa with teams playing their own divisions and conferences
i dont see where anyone said about traveling to waterbury for the playoffs but i wont rule that out..but again if teams cant make 1 trip/game to another city after playing the entire season at home...id guess my product will not be for them...
And as far as chris needing to be asked....when the mcffu holds a tournament...or chris runs a tournament...do teams need to ask me can they join the tournemnnt? there is no need to ask a regular human being can we go play in cash's tournament...lets be serious here....
you have to get rid of the stigma that teams are from waterbury and hartford..were from CT...and teams can play wherever they want. again its an option and people can choose to do it or not

| Cash I think its a good start. Spence is right the travel for some teams might just be unreasonable. So I think the playoff idea is a good one. I dont get that noname who was talking about two chips. Cash is making the playoffs a mini tourny of ten teams with the best records from reg season play in both leagues(Don't matter where you are from or play)I like that alot. Don't really understand how someone could not like that. good work cash.

| id say with such a big league...we should crown each division champ...such as nfc east champs or big east champs....because the afc/nfc team will be crowned conference champs when they win the game before the chip...but again great idea and id like more input on what you were thinking about

What about the timing of the games? I would assume our playoffs and the Waterbury playoffs would probably be happening on the same Sundays, i know they have less teams in their league, but i would assume the length of their season and playoffs is somewhat around the same length of ours.

1. Waterbury will be guaranteed 1 playoff team per four teams registered as i will create a division for every four teams they have. and the division winner will make playoffs guaranteed
2. Depending on which teams need it... i will hold playoffs on saturdays....but i do have an option for sundays but cant tell you yet.
3.Those teams do not have to play in out playoffs...but we will accept them in the order they finish to fill in gaps..example gators are #1 team in waterbury division..decide not to play we will give the spot to # 2 teams lets say bull dogs... we will go down the list until all or no gaps are filled for the pro playoffs and seeding for open playoffs...Giving the NCAA feeling for teams on "the bubble"..so win as many games as you can lol

| it is not the same cash because those teams payed to play in both leagues for a season and had a double header not play in waterbury then came to play playoff games in hartford and 23 how you don't get the fact that a team like your would have a chance to win a chip in waterbury and one in hartford you think chris going to stop his championship game for an idea like this no. Cash hurry up and post if you are going to do this or not so i could know not to put my team in this league this season if they not going to play with you for a whole season why give them that crazy option

| ok well all the teams have payed me in waterbury and i have a waterbury division now...if they choose to play in another playoff thats up to them...and you are more than welcomE to not join this spring league...Chris always accomodates his teams to play in tournaments not in his league im sure he wont stop now hahahahahahaha...
AGAIN I HAVE RECIEVED ALL MONIES DUE FROM ALL WATERBURY TEAMS.. THIS IS THE NEW DIVISION IN THE CFFL.
its not rocket science if teams dont want to play they dont have to...but again im pretty sure this is the same character as i have spoke to all the teams...stop trying to create contoversy please thanks

| Why is it so hard to just have two leagues. Screw unifying the state. Those that wanna play in Hartford will play in hartford and those who want to play elsewhere will do so. Just get the Hartford league situated and lets play some Football.

| Lets take this shit to flag football court. Get a jury with 12 captains....cash find a player in the league to represent you chris finds a player in the league to represent him...have Calavito be the judge because hes mad old. And we let chris and cash actually use their words in front of live people and we can all get together and have a say in this mess.
