| With the latest "development" out of the Hartford league I have elected to respond on the message bard even though I am against a war of words in this manner. As I have said before, I have not bashed or spoke ill of the Hartford league or Antwon Blunt as some would like you to believe. I have focused this league on only the positive things in which I can control. I am willing to invest in the league as is apparent in our features, pricing, prizes and associations and simply put out a package that I felt was great for the teams, without prejudice or talk about any other organization. Antwon has said it himself, let the product, service and reputation bring the teams to the league. He says that but then takes every opportunity to question, slander or disrespect the GCFFA and myself. Why not let your product speak for itself as you preach?
Over a year ago I outlined a comprehensive plan for the entire state of CT, tri-state area, Northeast region and national scene for both leagues and tournaments. A plan that now is about to explode on the regional and national scene with the release of the GCFFA & MCFFU Northeast Super League Series. The plan also went into great detail regarding CT, its growth, the ability to have numerous leagues in specific locations, with local commissioners, state directors, a competition board, sponsors and a players union. All of these things have been in motion and I shared all of this with Antwon and offered him Hartford and all it had to offer(by the way the 2009 Hartford Spring league had 21 teams.....BA or before Antwon). I asked him for NO financial compensation and even provided the insurance for the league. After weeks of nightly conversations, emails and planning we get the commitment and payment of over 20 teams.......suddenly I am no longer needed and conveniently erased from the website and Antwon would not return my calls. I actually had to call him on an international line 4 days later in order to get him to answer the phone and then was told "thats business". Well your right, that is business and I am the fool who trusted you. There are a handful of VERY respected individuals in CT flag that know all about the framework of the plan, the features and the relationship and trust I gave Antwon a year ago only to be played.

If you dont think I see the big picture or am not thiinking about what is best for all the teams you cannot possibly know me or the extent of my work and commitment to this sport. I have a great working relationship with multiple national organizations, vendors, players and leagues HERE and NATIONWIDE
I too have spoke to team leaders, captains and players. I have spoken with a dozen league directors (some of whom Antwon has spoken with and left a rather poor opinion of yourself with). I consulted the entire MCFFU staff and even heard from many of those hartford teams and players who are playing in the hartford league and asked me to put another option in Hartford. An idea I considered and dismissed as I am attempting to destroy the HFFL or any other league.
The flag network is HUGE and extends well behind Hartfor and Waterbury. For me to fall back at this point and work with someone I have no trust in, by the way I said that directly to Antwon 3 weeks ago in a conversation about why I was hesitent to work together, is not something I am ready to rush my organization into.
Antwon talks about me blowing off merger attempts but the fact is Antwon "offered" me to STOP RUNNING YOUR LEAGUE OR LEAGUES AND I(ANTWON) WILL SUPPORT YOU WHEN YOU RUN TOURNAMENTS. I responded back less that i needed to think about it and let him know less then 24 hrs later that I respectfully decline. Thanks for your support, but that was an offer made just so you can say you made an offer and I refused......making me look like the jerk. Whci you were very quick to twist and go public with. 2 weeks later I asked Antown if he wanted to run the King of CT with me, split everything 50/50 . Bring every team together and have a Civil war type tournament weekend. He couldnt talk at the time and I told him I was unavailable the next day.........next thing I know he posts a tyrade about how I am testing him and he is done and gonna conquer the state.
What i find most interesting is for the last year all that has come out of Antwon, the hartford league reps and its players is how "waterbury sucks", "go back to waterbury if you want", "noone cares you play", "come to hartford thats where its at" and thusands of post just like that. Antwon didnt need me then and doesnt need me now so why all of a sudden is there this longing to merge and "do whats best".
Could it be that the top competition has all left your league and left Hartford? Where you shocked that i didint roll over and quit but rather offered the teams what they wanted and you became nervous that if they had a great experience you might not see them again? Is your league suddenly loosing credibilty?
Fellas, if you believe Antwons passionat writings about being a martyr and leaving all this money on the table for the greater good of flag then you need to open your eyes. This is simply a way in the door in order to not lose what he weasled his way into in the first place. Its as transparent as can be. Its actually a slap on the face of all the Hartford teams because deep down he doesnt believe in what he preaches about certain teams not making a league good based on their name. I agree there are some very good, young and talented teams in Hartford and would love to see them continue to get better. Whats sad is he is willing to give up everything he offered you loyal customers and hand it to the teams who chose to play for something that was a better fit for them. Again I dont underestimate the intelligence of the people in this flag game and know you all can see this for whta it really is.
The bottom line is I have no interest in a merger for this spring. There are way to many things already in place on our end which included the Super League Championships for $4000 at the end of our league playoffs. I dont rule out anything but again I dont see a rush to work with someone who clearly has no respect for me, the MCFFU or anyone lese who shares my views. The KING of CT is 6 months away and the offer still stands to Antwon. 50/50 split, lower the netries for everyone and make it the single largest weekend in the history of CT flag football.

| that league was run as one league with 8 teams from gcffa and 13 from rays league then the teams met after the playoffs all the games were together at colt park 3 fields all day long. all ths crossover and civil war stuff is nothing new thats what chris is trying to tell you youngins its all shit hes done just dont want to do ist with cash

| That whole shit is wack everyteam in this league would end up playing eachother all over again just for less prezes than chris giving away. do you really think it wont be the knights bulldogs, trojans, chargers, gators, gunz and steelers in the end nomatter wheres you hav ethe playoffs. quick let me give you some money so you can have me play teams i would be playing nyway.

| Informant c'mon now. Did you really read it or did you just pick certain parts out. Cash back doored Chris and took the Hartford League. Didn't you see Chris admit to that. How do you think Cash is running the league? Do you think Chris would just give a good thing up for nothing. Please read it again. Wwhoever responded to Informant, you were on point kid.
