| AFTER MEETING WITH SEVERAL TEAM REPS LAST NIGHT WE NOW HAVE 11 TEAMS PAID IN FULL OR ON DEPOSIT, A 12TH TEAM VERBALLY COMMITTED AND TWO OTHERS STILL HOPING TO GET IT TOGETHER.
WITH FIELD CONDITIONS AS THEY ARE, IT IS LIKELY THAT WE WILL BE PUSHING THE WEEK BACK TILL MARCH 20TH AT THE REQUEST OF THE FACILITIES. WE ARE LOOKING INTO ALTERNATIVE SITES AT THE MOMENT. FULL DETAILS WILL BE DISCUSSED AT THE NEXT LEAGUE MEETING NEXT TUESDAY.
ALL TEAMS INTERESTED IN JOINING THE SPRING LEAGUE MUST HAVE A MINIMUM DEPOSIT IN BY TUESDAYS MEETING IN ORDER TO BE PLACED ON THE SCHEDULE.

| Yes, we are working with the city to get the field for a few sundays and the final round of the playoffs. As soon as the details are finalized we will post them, hopefully before next tuesdays meeting

| Chris, with the mcffu st. patty's tourny the weekend of the 20th which will effect like half the league, why not just push the start date back until the 27th- that will give the fields even more time to get better.

| i agree with the last poster, it would be kind of bad to start a season and then week 2, half of the teams are missing...i guess the main question is, if we start on the 27th would that run into any major tournament times with our league schedual? I know if i was a team that wasnt traveling, i would much rather have a bye later in the year (because teams were away in tournys) rather than week 2. combine that with the field conditions and it seems like the right choice...

| As it stands right now, there are 2 teams from our league that will be making the trip to the St.Patricks Day tournament in Long Island on March 19-20. This would not impact the league schedule and is not a reason to postpone the league.
On the other hand, the fields at Wilby are not in playable condition at this time. We are looking into 2 different turf facilities in order to keep the league on schedule. If we are forced to push the srart date back due to field conditions then we make the necessary adjustments in the schedule. This may include doubleheaders or the scheduling of games on Mothers Day.
All options will be discussed at this Tuesdays league meeting
