| Cowboys vs. Raiders
This is going to be a great way to open up the 2011 Waterbury Indoor Playoffs. This is the Cowboys chance to get their revenge on the Southside Raiders for starting them off with a Loss in the season opener. The Final score of the original match up was 24-8 In favor of the Raiders, however these two teams have definitely evolved over the season and I see this be a much closer game in the end. My personal opinion, I believe it is going to come down to the play of the QB’s . The Raiders with QB Brian Chouniard at the helm have looked pretty good over the past couple of weeks putting up scores of 25 and 38 points, but the Cowboys opportunistic defense has only given up an average of 8 points per game, over the last three games. If Cowboys QB Moe Ramos can somehow avoid the relentless pass rush of Abby Johnson and Rodney Davis and manage to put up a few scores to WR Justin Walters, I think their defense may be able to hold on and let them advance to face the only team they have not had a chance to play this year. Although nobody ever looks forward to having to match up against the Knights when they are playing as hot as they have been lately.
Spread – Cowboys -2
Chargers vs. Old School
If Old School has any shot at pulling off this upset, they would have to pull QB Jerome Mitchell out of his early retirement. His explosive ability is really the only thing that gives them a threat against this Chargers defense. But even if they can manage to get him there, the way the Chargers have been playing offensively still may be too much for Old School to overcome. I expect Chargers to come out with their full squad for this one and light up the score board to build some momentum going into the Semi’s to face the #2 Playmakers, who got the best of them early in the season. Spread – Chargers - 17
Playmakers vs. Winner of #3 & #6
Playmakers will be anxiously waiting on the sidelines for the completion of the #3 & #6 game. They will have to return to early season form if they plan on advancing to the Championship. They are coming off back to back performances that I would consider mediocre at best for their prolific offense but we all have seen and know what QB Rob Servidas and WR Pat Hussey are capable of. If they can put up the numbers that they are known for then maybe they will be able to walk away at the end of the night crowned Indoor Champions but it will not be an easy task. Ideally they would like to see an Old School upset of the heavily favored Chargers but most likely will have to face the red hot Chargers in this match up.
Knights vs. Winner of #4 & #5
Knights sitting at the #1 seed have the advantage of selecting to play the 9:00 game, meaning the winner of the #4 & #5 game will most likely be cold and stiff from sitting through two other playoff games before their Semi-final contest. But either team to face the Knights would be an interesting matchup considering the Cowboys were not on the regular season schedule and the Raiders were able to bring the Knights to Overtime in one of the best games of the year. The way I see it though, both teams would be over matched against the undefeated Knights as they have proven to be the Top Offense and Defense in the League. Expect QB Jon “Ish” Esmail to continue is MVP caliber season and carry the Knights into the Championship.
Championship Game
Don’t know who we will see in this game but the way the season has gone thus far it is sure to be a great finish .Good luck to everyone that has a chance to walk away with the Hardware and Cash and would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2011 Indoor league and look forward to seeing some of you outdoors in the GCFFA Spring league.

| Why don't you ever give a O line any love on these write ups? I mean without them none of these QBs would be as good. Chargers and Knights have good O-Line men. Cmon man!!

| Sorry If I offended you, but being an O-Line man, you should know that you don't get any love in the game of football...But you also what kind of O-Line man is looking for the Spotlight?.... Most O-line men are out there for the love of the game, they don't care about being recognized, they just want to be in those trenches banging heads.... Personally I think the O-line is the heart of the team if you don't have a solid O-line you are going to have a tough time trying to succeed...and as you can see the Knights, Playmakers, and Chargers all have Great O-Line man out there every week as it reflects on the Final Standings, so I would like to congratulate them all on an outstanding season.... but if you are really upset about not getting the love, just do what the Knights Guard did last week and step in at Quarterback and throw the only converted extra point of the game with no time left on the clock to earn yourself Player of the Game.
