When you put about 17 hungry football players in one room... your bound to see the wolves, the prides and the talents clash heads... Heres just a peak at what went dowwn at The Tavern.Low lights bad quality, but see if you can listen in on the trash talk! lol
So what went down??? Well the league is pretty much all set so i guess there was nothing else to do but for teams to flex their muscles... Hartford Rams come with 2 football specimens that are sure to make teams look twice. Steelers wiley vet and Coach Martin Jones kindly shook the new players hands and asked.." Do you want my card or do you want it later" confirming that they would not be with the rams for long and soon to be new steelers in the very near future. Yeah thats how things started.... it ended totally different.
SO the wings kept getting passed and a few more sips of beer and water were consumed... Pretty soon Assassins and Rams were at it!. Stats were getting mentioned and peoples cards were getting pulled left and right by all players "flexing" their muscle. but their stats said other wise. Death to all smart phones with the internet! lol
But the highlight of it all was when Steelers coach Martin Jones proclaimed that the Steelers have not only one... but have 2 QBS better than Young Gunz Chris Roberts.. And lets just say he Rocket wasnt even one of them when this was stated. Martin Jones a veteran of CT flag could teach you a thing or two about the game, but he turned a few heads when this was brought to light.
Jones went further to explain Roberts is a lucky QB and if the game gets physical...Hes done! lol And more wings were eatin and maybe an extra beer or two...And the flag vet jones also proclaimed the "chief" himself is a "so called" Defensive MVP" and couldnt do anything against #77 Mr.wilks in their meetings last year!
By the way Mr. Wilks .. one of those fine football specimens that came with he Rams... Hes a weaver alum named Cameron... and he told The Vet Jones... wherever you (wilks)line up, he will line up to expose you!!!
And lastly Mr Jones made a bet with the commisioner for $100 that Leo "the Black Lion" would achieve 1 sack per game for the season....Black Lion looked scared out of his socks that he could achieve such a monumentous task...
One thing also mention was that jones offered to bet the Young Gunz pregame before last years playoff matchup and Roberts walked away... The commissioner has always thought GUNZ are always ready to play a money game?? Is this True???
I dunnnooooooo... but this season cant get here fast enough! This was one of the livest league meetings in CFFL history.. and the video just quite doesnt capture it!

haha shit is hillarious....i really don't even consider myself a legitament flag player yet since i only been playin for like 2 years now so to be considered someone is better than me then obviously I must be doin somethin right so thx for the attention....and I know when the bet was placed, i believe it was after they were lost and he was yellin from the sidelines....I'm not the money man but you know for sure the Gunz never shy away from a money game and I'm pretty sure I said bring it next time we play or somethin in that matter and it never happened...and as for if it being a tough game I will shy away that's funny so r you implying that for every game I played against you guys, you guys didn't play tough? If your answer is no then I look forward to "shying away from the tough game" haha...I have all respect for the Steelers cuz its always a game, but shying away come on now let's b real....I've been in game 10 times more tougher with more on the table but gd luck this season hope you guys play tough against us this time

There is nothing luck about me playing QB...granted that one time we beat u when it was tipped in the endzone and caught by Roo was a wrong route driven and yea the ball fell our way...but as for me overall being luck is false...definately pure talent and got the stats to prove it and google can be my witness too...mite as well call my football scholarship luck too haha

I like this.. The dominant teams going head to head. Two quick question though, How does both teams feel being attacked by the Rams?
