The only team to score on us all weekend was the team that came runner up in the Pro division (Blue Dogs) And two of their touchdowns came on blown coverages on 4 and 20+.. So stop hating. Our offense didnt click like it normally does. It took some time. We have been playing in the dome for the past few months and this was our first real football in a minute.
Regardless, our first tournament and we came home with a chip.
Suck on that hater!

Damn we can't seem to win....1st tournament and we win, no matter what division it was in...we won!!! Brought hardware back to CT!!! Guy who made da oilers comment...see u don't know the history....under many names, the oilers still didn't win a chip...no disrespect to them..I know becuz I played with them during those tournaments....so the first year playing in a outta connecticut tournament...no they didn't accomplish what we did...the last one they won was in meriden...we shouldn't have been in da open but we wasn't able to show our talents like we know we could've...but all in all, a chip was brought home....
By the way all that talk about the knights not winning the king of CT tournament and/or losing to da steelers in da playoffs...I was a main part of the losses they took...they are and now WE are a great team....remember all the great teams had to pay dues...its like a track race...da baton was handed from dawg city to da steelers, steelers took it from.da gators and handed to da young gunz and will hand it to....you get the picture!!!!
No disrespect to da guns gators or steelers...I just know what I know!!!! POW!!!!

not sure if its hate or not... as on facebook i expressed my feeling to rob and a few knights last night... that its tough that my team beat up and blew out the top competition all weekend, while the knights can lose and get a trophy...
As i expressed last night its sort of hurts me as a competitor to see the knights all over facebook saying they won a national championship. when the course of action was you had to lose to end up in the bracket they were in..
So its like should my team have lost on purpose so we could bully all the terrible teams and come home with the chip?
Again dont know if its hate by these no names or just simply stating the facts...which is why i laughed beause that was the convo we had last night...You had to lose to get that trophy...not win win win On this site its quiet by the knights but on facebook... its all over that site by their players saying they won a national championship and expressing pride
But like i said ...honestly me as a person/competitor (not the comisioner) it does hurt to see a team get rewarded when the root they took to get there was to lose or be unsucessful.
Maybe to me it wasnt the trophy ...maybve its because my team didnt win any cash when we finished higher than them... we need the cash lol

just read through the psots again and i personally dont see where anyone incliding myself put down, hated or said the knights arent a good team... they are a good team.
All posts ackowledged they won the open? how is that puttoing them down
evryone acknowledges you went 3-1-1 in the open. how is that putting them down. No one can change those FACTS.
no one can say the knights arent good... they are very good... they just didnt perform well this tournament against the top teams thats all... thatll change next time they play guranteed

First of all, I dont believe there were Knights bragging on FB that we won a National Championship. If they were, they shouldnt have been.
Second, winning the open division was not the goal we set for ourselves. We didnt perform like we shouldve on Saturday, so we were subject to play in the open. Yes, it was dissapointing to us the be placed in the open but we did what we had to and we won it. Its not like we registered for the open bracket. We suckked Saturday and balled Sunday.
Antwon, as for you feeling "hurt" because some of our players were bragging about winning, tighten up. I bet you wouldve taken the Open chip if you had the chance.
Plus its not even like you were a factor on the field. I know you will say they didnt throw your way because they knew better. But when they did start to throw at you, they did it three times in a row and then you "pulled a hammy". I'd accept your hate with open arms if you were a better player than a sh*t talker.
And.... the team Laney's that you wore a jersey for, was a mixture of like 4 different teams. We traveled with our core guys and a few add ons... Keep that in mind to while you guys hate!
Sheets- are you even on a team this spring? Last I knew, you were a "free agent". You have no room to hate. I dont recall you ever leaving Hartford to play football. You and Antwon wouldnt be our 9th and 10th DB's..

1. i seen at least 3 nights said they were national champs... mad dog responded 1st on facebook informimg them they didnt and then the knight player told us they did and we said ok lol
2. yes maybe we were 162 teams combined...but it translated to sucesss not failure as we finished sixth... see the differnce between me and you... to win, ill win by any means necessaryy... while you would rather play with your "core" and lose lol (didnt i tell you that "merging" was the key to success on the circuit)
3. if i only made it to the 3rd play of the game (the game you speak of)... how did i give up 3 catches in a row ..hahahahahahahahaaaaa

When I had first posted on fb, I was messing with rob I like rob we were teammates once but it started going crazy so I just left it alone. congrats knights on your championship. truthfully your both good players. you guys(riddler and sheets) aren't amazing player. you both do your job on the field and make plays to help your teams win. but neither team won a league title since hffl/cffl started. steelers have kings of ct and knights have open champ recently but stay humble. both teams really have worry about the young gunz. they're still the two time champions until otherwise. but hopefully we'll find out if this merger happens! good luck to all teams this season. message board Skip
