| In all our madness this morning in our postS there were a few mentions of hoping the merger happens and this where it currently stands
I posted on Chris site that its pretty clear the waterbury teams dont want to combine the playoffs. And also Chris has informed that the vast majority of his customers do nnot want to combine the playoFfs
My customers are ready to rumble as they love the fact it would make it harder to win a chip.
Chris customers, or the majority as he informed me do not want that challenge...
I informed chris that he should listen to his customers and dont make them merge if they dont want to. At the end of the day all teams, players etc etc. are not built for tough competition
So we have two sets of customers ..Mine who want war with whoever whenever...and chris's who like to play against their own teams and win THEIR own chips
There is nothing wrong with either customers visions..we just sell to 2 completely different markets. They can change their mine at anytime they want as we have about 3 months to merge the playoffs.... but as of right now it looks like that ill run my league and tourneys and hell do his...Sorry if it doesnt get done... But we cant make them
IF WATERBURY TEAMS HAVE CHANGED THEIR MIDS ID ADVISE YOU TO CALL CHRIS AND EXPRESS YOU WANT TO TAKE THE CHALLENGE

| After talking to all the team captains in our league either through text, in person or phone calls, and talking to a few teams from the Hartford league, the feedback I got was this...... There were 3 teams that were willing to do a full merger of leagues and schedules but all 3 of those perferred just merging the playoffs. The remaining teams wanted to play within their own league, have their own playoffs, crown a champion and then have a winner take all super bowl between the leagues.
There were a handful of captains who had some very good points on the different scenarios and I hope they will post them as I dont want to misrepresent what their concerns were.
What I feel the teams were most willing and looking forward to doing is outlined below. I feel that Antwon and I have broken down some of the barriers between us and hope we can continue to move forward in the future. The fact is there are differences in philosiphies between many of the players, captains and even Antwon and I and we are still trying to figure out the best way to compromise and give the best product to the players and still be cognizant of the big picture.
Each league mantains their own schedule and status.
One week in the season (May 29th), would be designated as a cross-over or rivalry week. The current standings at that time will dictate the match-ups. For example, we take the standings at the end of week 7 and create the week 8 schedule with Waterbury #1 vs Hartford #1, Waterbury #2 vs Hartford #2 and so on down the line.
The playoffs are held independently.........
PLAYOFF SCENARIO
Complete each playoff, crowning seperate league champions in both the Pro and Open divisions, then have each leagues Champions meet in the first ever CT League Superbowl.
It was also suggested that we hold a Pro-Bowl the same day as the Pro and Open Superbowls, with players selected from the teams that were not in the championships.
TOURNAMENTS:
KING of CONNECTICUT.......
I would like to offer the King of Connecticut tournament to every team in CT and to do that will make it a full merger with Antwon (50/50). Lower the entry fees as much as possible to ensure every team is able to participate.
The ROSTERS for the King of Connecticut event would have to be the same final rosters teams used in their spring league. No add-ons or team stacking.
I am also willing to work with Antwon and the Hartford teams financially on their participation in the 2 MCFFU sanctioned tournaments the GCFFA hosts each year.

| I am with the last proposal at the least. I think it may be too close to the season for a full blown merger but the Super Bowl,Rivalry week and All-Star game sounds good to me. We can even take the top 2 teams from each for all I care. I think we owe it to our selves to at least play each other 1 week to end some of the shit talkin. A Super Bowl at the end would have us in the direction of a full merger. Let's play fellas.

| WE ARE DOWN TO DO IT. WE WANT TO PLAY THE BEST COMPETITION. BUT IF WE ARE GOING TO MERGE THE LEAGUES DONT GO HALFWAY. MIX THE SCHEDULES AND PUT THE TEAMS TOGETHER OTHERWISE ITS A WASTE. BOTH LEAGUES FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE BETTER TEAMS SO WE ARE NOT PLAYING AGAINST THE SAME LEVEL OF COMPETITION. MAYBE GETTING A 3RD FIELD BETWEEN WATERBURY AND HARTFORD WOULD HELP SO GUYS DONT HAVE TO DRIVE SO FAR ALL THE TIME. JUST STATING MY OPINION WE WILL PLAY NO MATTER WHAT
