| Growing up in NE haven't we learned that you can't really start the spring season until April anyway. Weather and fields are always to unpredictable. Trying to start any sooner is usually a set up.

| It does suck were all not playing tomorrow but if we ruin those fields not only do we not have them this year but it may cost us in the future also.

| no games this up coming weekend either, fuck this shit man is it too late to join the hartford league- it'll april 3rd and we cant have a game until april 10th, hell no, chris borrow a diff field for the weekend show some costomer service and try to make something happen- whatever happened to the meriden location......shit we dont even care if we have to play outside of waterbury for the first couple of weeks we just wanna play some football- tired of this pushed back shit, we paid the money now get us a game

| Fellas, the league is set to start this weekend, I don't know where anyone was told we weren't starting this weekend. Keep in mind we have never started the spring league this early before. We tried to start early in order to get a 10 game season in w/o a ton of doubleheaders but mother nature has not allowed it to happen.
Wilby has been very good to us over the last year and a half and we were not willing to destroy the fields just to start early. Myself and a few others have been contacting numerous venues as a back up for this weekend. We will keep you posted if a change in location occurs.
We are all very eager to start the season, its gonna be a great year with 13 teams, great competition and some of the best ball players in the state. I can't wait to see all this frustration and hostility let loose on the fields!
If anyone has an alternate facility they would like us to look into, contact me directly

| you know thats cash writing those posts. no one would ever be that upset about not being able to play. Im just saying Chris its supposed to rain pretty good this weekend so i dont think its that much of a stretch to think Wilby wont let us play again. Besides the idiot above we know you have no control over it.

| hey numn nutz, if ur not upset about not being able to play then i truely question ur competitive spirit maybe u shouldnt be out there cuz everyone i talked to wants to play. secondly, stop watching the weather channel, if we base this league on the perfect weather weekend we'd be getting started in june, who cares about the weather this is football. finally, we know chris has no control over the field conditions, we know what the problem is, what we are looking for is a solution so that the league can continue on- a good manager is not one who constantly tells us or come to us with the problem, but one who can come to us with a solution. we can either sit here and stare at lemons or we can make lemonade.......if im chris from this piont on i will no longer concentrate on this problem (its a waste of time) i'd really concentrate on the solution so that the league can move forward. hope for the best, but expect the worse and worse case scenario we should have a back up place to play. i mean come on, how many weeks in a row is this league going to get pushed back before a light goes off in someone's head that say "hey, we need to find another place to play for a while."

| It has nothing to do with not wanting to play. its realizing whats in someones control and whats not. im sure that most of the schools and rec departments arent going to have a similar concerns about their feilds. Im sure Chris wants us to play as well but its not just as easy to pick up a phone and make a call to get a feild. you might have to go out of town and some teams wont want to . etc.

| Not that it matters because we know where we stand but of course we wanted shank, rico, diallo to play with us I think any team in the league would take them. Bitter I wouldn't say that. The gators helped create the chargers shank and the other guys had a lot invested in the charger. We all talked about making one team and found there were too many players. With shank and the other guys personally recruited some of the players they decided to play with them and that's fine would we all have like to all play together yes we have been playing together for over 10 years. As for us wanting to beat the chargers of course that's why we play the games but to think we would be ok with going 1-9 as long as we beat the chargers is OK then you don't know the gators we have one goal and one goal only win the championship. Is the charger game marked on the calendar of course it is its going to be fun were competitors every team in the league will be there to watch the game(Chris were should have our guys to talk shit about each other on the message board hype the game and charge admission could be a big $$$ maker think about it) the manning brothers want to beat each other every time they play and then root for each other as soon as the game is over and I feel were no different. Also as for us being bitter and taking it personal or us not liking each other that is far from the truth. I talk to chris severino everyday shank rico and diallo once a week. the charger were the only team to come out and support us on Sunday chris and rico came to Shelton to bring us flags and stuff for the fields. Did we take shots at rico of course because that's what REAL friend do we bust each other's balls. So believe what you want I know your guys side of the story is more interesting but it's just not true.
