Pookies vs. Raiders

Raiders are going to start this season off with a dominate win proving that they aren’t going to settle mediocrity. There is a lot of talk that they have never been in a league with this much competition but I feel their physical approach will keep them in any game.

Line – Raiders -10

Canes vs. Gators

Gators get the win in this game showing that losing some of the their key players to the Chargers is not going to be as big of an impact as everyone makes it out to be. Let’s not forget these boys were competing for a championship just 4 months ago.

Line – Gators -6

Knights vs. Tig Ole Bitties

Knights come out the gate on fire winning this game big and welcoming the Tig ole Bitties to the game of 9-man. Tough to get matched up with one of the top teams in the state for your first game of the year but you have to start somewhere.

Line – Knights -17

Ace of Fadez vs. Sharks

Battle of the Bristol boys. Don’t know much about this Ace of Fadez team but we do know that the Sharks are coming off an active winter after playing in the Indoor league. Going to give the edge to the Sharks in this game since they have been getting more reps in together and are starting to mesh as a team.

Line – Sharks -3

Trojans vs. Warriors

Should be an interesting matchup but going to have to give the edge to the more experience Trojans, since the Warriors will be coming out with a lot of new, young faces in key positions. The Warriors will be all right but it’s going to take a little time before everyone is on the same page.

Line – Trojans -7

Chargers vs. Old Skool

Chargers win this one easily. They should be able to score at will against the overmatched defense of Old Skool. Don’t get me wrong, Old Skool has been making steps in the right directions, just not ready to take on the big dogs yet.

Line – Chargers -16

Chargers vs. Trojans

This very well might be the best match up of the day. Do the Chargers have what it takes to knock of the defending Spring league champs or will the Trojans prove they deserve that title and plan on keeping it come the end of the season.

Line – Even

Old Skool vs. Warriors

Warriors get the W in this one giving them some much needed confidence going into next week’s tough rivalry game. The loss puts Old Skool in a funk to start the year. Nobody wants to start the year 0-2 but it’s not the end of the world. I’ve seen many teams trip up at the start only to finish at the top when all is said and done.

Line – Warriors -9
