Hello Everyone,

My name is Chad Gibson and I am the President of the WMFFL located in Springfield MA. I am writing in regards to inform everyone of our Annual Spring Flag Football Tournament that we host and we would like to get some of the Elite Greater CT Flag Football teams to participate. The following information will highlight and educate you on the overview and history of the WMFFL, our Annual Spring Tournament and its rules and regulations.

The WMFFL is celebrating its 12th season. My team and I have been managing the league for 9 years.
This will be our 3rd Annual Spring Tournament
Event will take place on Saturday May 7th from 10am thru 7pm
Games will be played at one single multiple field location in Springfield MA.
Registration deadline is April 21st
Games will last 1 hour
NCAA Rules
Stiff arms legal
Kickoffs, Punts etc
Sidelines are LIVE. (except wrap up tackling)
100 yard regulation field
8 on 8
Cash Prize
Guaranteed two games
First and Ten (Not first and 20)
All refs that officiate all WMFFL games are all of the top refs in the Western Massachusetts market. Several of them sit on the State board of Officials and all have been officiating for several years. They all ref Varsity HS games, and several colleges such as UMASS, AIC, Westfield State, WNEC, and Springfield College. The reason why I stress this topic with our officials is truly based on the overall perception and success of the WMFFL and its Tournaments that we host.
There will be food available and music being played thru the entire event with an addition to a private after party at the Mardi Gras. (anyone that does not know what this is just google it in Springfield...Two Thumbs Up, )

Teams that are currently confirmed are some of the following:
****3 NY Teams. (1 of the teams are Nationally ranked)
****1 RI Team
****3-4 CT teams
****1 Boston team (Ranked)
****4-6 Springfield MA based teams.

In the previous years tournaments as well as the WMFFL Fall League the CT Young Gunz/Bucs and CT Enfield Stars have both participated for the past two years.

Previous champs are as follows
2009 Springfield MA Colts defeat PC Havoc 14-8
2010 Rochester NY Sliderz defeat Springfield Colts 12-6
2011 ????

ps: My main Goal and Objective is to create a Tournament and an atmosphere for players, teams, coaches, and leagues to talk about and to be officially crowned the King Team in the New England market. This tourney will be filled with very solid teams. This is not Flagmag with watered down tournaments to make a quick buck. My other objective is to create and develop superior partnerships with Chris and the GCFFA, Hartford Flag, and several other leagues to have each of you (players) and the top teams to play the best teams in this market.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me at any time.

Thank You. and Thank you all who actually read the above novel. Hope to see you out. Best of luck to Chris and the GCFFA and to all the teams this Sunday.

President of the W.M.F.F.L.
