| Hello once again
Over the last couple of weeks as well as today in Hartford it truly solidified my beliefs that we can really make some great things happen in the future. In the next few months I would like to develop superior partnerships with Teams, Coaches, and League officials from the Hartford League, Enfield League and the Waterbury league in an effort to crown a true champ in the CT and MA market.
Here are my suggestions.
-ROAD to Crown the True Champ-
-Event will begin One to Two weeks after the Fall Season.
-Either a 2 day tournament or a tournament over two weeks.
-Top 4 finishing teams are invited from Waterbury, Hartford, Enfield, and Springfield to compete in this true test of talent. There will be a total of 16 teams
-Ranking and scheduling will be determined at a later date
-Site for the event will be a majority vote.
-Rules can also be agreed upon at a later date. I understand the rules are slightly different in each league but if we all begin the discussion NOW we can make this happen. (I provided the WMFFL brief rules below that are different than Hartford's).

This could truly be a great opportunity for everyone to have a great time, crown a true champ, and play the game that we all love. Lets get the ball rolling Gentlemen!!
WMFFL Basic Rules
-8 on 8 all men eligble (Since the WMFFL and the Enfield league is this style i am sure we can work something out) I can tell you personally that all 4 top finishing teams from the WMFFL in the Fall 2011 season will change their style to 9 man just for this tournament.
-4 quarters at 12 minutes per quarter
-3-90 second time outs per half
-Stiff arms legal, Downfield blocking
-Crackbacks are legal
-Sidelines are live. (No wrap Up tackling)
-First and 10
-Regulation fields
-Kickoffs and Returns thru game
-Rushing on all punts, extra points etc. etc..
