| First off, great games this weekend at ELY (Men's Division) and at Deanwood. A lot of the veteran teams got some of their key players back and all of the first year teams took it on the chin pretty good this past Sunday. However, "WE" as a collective unit have to do better with cleaning up what we mess up (We will try our best to have plenty of trash bags spread out within the complex so that people won't just throw their trash onto the turf. "NO" pets are allowed on the Deanwood Complex and the "SUNFLOWER SEED SHELLS" have to be either discarded in napkins/bags or banned totally from the field - we can not just spit the shells onto the turf. Other than that, things are starting to come together. Feel free to alert myself, Coach Tim (Most Wanted) or Coach Mel (DC Jets) of any/all issues that might come about. Good luck the rest of the season people.

| I have an issue with the refs.... One ref in particular. It is definitely a mind bother because you say something to them and it defeats the purpose because then you have to worry about them taking the fact that you approached them about a bad call out on your team! Why do you not switch the refs up between the men and women games? Then I have a problem with them acting as if WE owe them something, when in fact our league fees help pay them for reffing the games.... Am I mistaking? It becomes a double standard when you see the refs playing, laughing and joking with the opposing team during the game and you never get a good call from the ref! But all the calls go in favor of the team he is laughing and joking with! HUH????

| We all are adults and I feel as if all comments or issues could be better addressed if people were more direct and a little more specific with their comments or outlined with a little more detail as to which team(s) are supposedly getting preferential treatment. Of course putting your name on your post is optional, but the refs are there to do the best job they can and not show favorites. At the same token, you might see them socializing with teams/players because they know to be customer friendly and approachable. Just try to have a conversation with them and see how it goes. But trust this we are all a little bit too old to think that I would have refs out there "CHEATING" on any of the games played in our League(s). It's okay to say who you are also because all comments (good or bad) can only help the league continue to grow in a positive direction. Thanks

| Normally I don't respond to post about REFS, but this time I will. Because the REFS don't make the call you want mean he sucks or he is terrrible thats funny. Remember this your questioning his judgment an you are not seeing the same thing he is b/c of the angle in which your looking as well as his angle. Try REFFING an see how you do then come back an judge a REF. I know every REF out there is approachable, but you have to be in control of yourself when you want to approach them. We do not an will not show favorites to any team. Yes we do know alot of the PLAYERS, TEAMS and COACHES, but we have integrity.

| I bet 1 million dollars u were complaining to the ref and I bet ur team was losing. I have played in many leagues I think the refs are actually doing the best job u can expect of a person. To think that they won't miss a call or two is crazy. Put u in some stripes and see how PERFECT u perform. Any team focused on the refs performance is probably lacking in their performance on the field. STOP acting like the refs owe U something because u pay a league fee. Last but not least the ref doesn't have to explain every call or any call to u. They only act like they are listening for professionalism. Quit crying and play ball dammit!!!!

| Through all of this my question to CLAN was never answered! So back to CLAN and never mind all the other bullshit Mark and ? for Refs SUCK is talking, Why is it that the refs can not be switched between the men and women games?
Further more, I do not act like the refs owe me anything... I do see it as a problem when the other refs on the field say to me or a team mate "you are right, he should not have made that call, you are right, that was a bad call"... Sometimes the refs need to check one another!
Anyway, answer to question please and thank you!

| I think the refs are doing a fantastic job out there. It is very disappointing for another ref to say "that was a bad call" or "he should not have made that call". That is a cop out to quiet those complaining and throwing another ref under the bus. There are a certain number of judgement calls out there and there are 3 refs who tend to be in position. Sometimes one ref has the better angle and there may need to be a "conference" on the call if it's questionable. As a ref myself if I hear of a ref saying "he shouldn't have made that call" "that's not my call" or "that was a bad call" those refs don't get any games period! I didn't see any onesided games out there and knowing most of the refs out there I can honestly say they have integrity and take their craft seriously. I preach to my girls/coaches that we don't argue calls. Let the refs do their job and we will focus on doing ours. Seems to be working pretty well. Focusing on what the refs are doing/not doing only takes away focus on what you're trying to accomplish. Lastly I like that we have consistent refs at the field. Unless they're not doing a good job I don't see a need to replace them.

| One way to get the ref's up Ely is to play some games up there! Ask George for that since you mention Ely player!!!!!!
