| I have to admit I've been confused on the Power Rankings for the last 2 weeks how does the system work? I think the Raiders has the same rights to be up there as the Oilers and Steelers and Assassins. How does this system work?

| its a complicated process... each week theres different criteria as each week shows and tells a different story...
From week to week it changes beacuse you guys make the criteria after you play the games... So there is no 1 answer...

| sos is not complicated in its most simple form. Calculation can be done by anyone: sos= 2(your winning percentage)+(opponents combined winning percentage) divided by 3.
about right cash, or is it more complicated than 6th grade math?

| where did I imply you said it was complicated? I simply asked for your input on if that was about how you and/or your minions get your results.... maybe its your comprehension skills that are in question? your customers were asking and since the league (cffl was the poster) thought it was too complicated for them (the customers) to understand, I thought Id give them the means and let them decide that.

| Frank this was randomly picked it's some spots that's questionable. Oilers lost to a 2-0 Bearcats, 3-0 Havoc and beat a 2-1 Wolverines. Gamblers beat a 1-2 Raiders, 1-2 Assassins and lost to a 1-2 Steelers, Lions Den lost to a 2-1 Wolverines beat a 1-2 Rams and a 1-2 Assassins. Hit Squad lost to a 3-0 HAVOC beat a 1-2 Raiders, beat a 1-2 Rams now can u show me how this method works? I don't want to hear that it's simple math excuse just explain how it works

| There is no method or calculation that can tell you who the best team is. that can only be decided on the field. Sos, win% and sov are tools used for a system in which a ranking is needed.(i.e. the bcs system)
in this case youd need to calculate your teams win percentage,(wins divided by games played) and your opponents combined win percentage.(combined wins divided by combined games played.) multiply your win percentage by 2. add that sum to your opponents combined win percentage. then divide that sum by 3. that is your strength of schedule. Do the same with every other team and you can then rank them from strongest to weakest.
that is a very basic way of doing it but also the most logical for a league where conflicts of interest may exist. Strength of victory can also be factored in and any other criteria the league wishes to use.
Theres a lot of counting that goes into it obviously but you can definatly appreciate the time cash puts into it if its done right. My only questions would be are out of league games counted,(national events) and if not maybe there should be two sets of rankings. teams that travel. teams that dont. or should national event wins count as some kind of criteria where points can be added in the form of an extra percentile.
