Rome Adult Flag Football is proud to present the
2011 DAWG DAZE OF SUMMER FLAG FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT


The tournament will be a two day event on the weekend of August 20-21* and will feature some of the region`s top flag football teams. The team fee will be $495 and includes all ref fees.

Teams will be guaranteed three games with some of the top performing teams playing as many as eight or nine games.

All teams will play 2 games on Saturday (randomly assigned). Teams will then be seeded within their divisions based on Saturday`s results and play through a single elimination bracket on Sunday. Some teams may have the opportunity to switch divisions based on Saturday`s results.

No overtime will be played in the Saturday games. There will be no mercy rule.

Divisions and Style of Play
Dawg Daze will be MCFFU sanctioned NIT event and will have two divisions of play at the A level: Pro and Pro Open

The style of play will be 8-man ineligible

Points and Prizes
Champions in each division will receive 300 points toward national ranking. Other top performing teams will be awarded points according to the MCFFU NIT event point matrix found here.

$1000 prize for the winner of the Pro division**

Field Size and Rules
The tournament fields will be 40x80 with 10yd end zones (40x100 total).

The rosters size will be limited to 25.

Teams will be required to wear shirts of the same color with numbers in accordance with MCFFU tournament policy.

The rule set is not finalized yet, but will be a slightly modified version of the MCFFU 9-man ineligible rulebook
