| How much would it be to get one? Would it be feasible for each to do a fund raiser to raise enough money to buy one? Just curious.

| tarp big enough to cover infield would cost ~$7,500 as our high school just bought one this year and wouldn't matter with this much rain as water would seep under it

| 1. With all the rain we have had a tarp wouldn't matter. 2.Tarp is a lot of work and by the amount of people I have seen out getting the field ready this year we don't have enough volunteers. And 3, just relax, since 2007 this is the amount of games that we have played in April. 07 - 13 08 - 3 09 - 11 10 - 2

| Unfortunately one of the most important things with a tarp is getting it off of the field when the sun is out, this would mean that when it is put on before an expected rain it would need to be taken off as soon as the rain is done or at first light the next morning. This would cause the two teams that were to play the next game to show up at the field around 6am and pull the tarp so the grass beneath it doesn't burn.
