| Hi - just wondering what the general consensus is on chest protectors for major league players. They are required in a few surrounding area towns and I am just up in the air about whether or not we should have one. Are most people getting them?

| Little League has not made it mandatory yet so we will not either. BUT -
Both my boys wear EVOSHIELD chest protectors. I dont care for the plastic disk heart guards or the over padded shirts that are out there. EVOSHIELD was 1st put to the test in front of me several years ago when a fastball pitcher hit the batter ( by mistake ) & that batter was wearing the EVO. He sustained no injury and just jogged to 1st base. Had he not been wearing it, I think I would have been calling ERPD to dispatch an ambulance to the field.
