| We had 5 league games played yesterday prior to the completion of the CT NIT. The Knights, Chargers and Trojans games will be rescheduled and added to to the future schedule.
WARRIORS 12 BELL CITY 6
This was an ugly game all around but the experience of the warriors prevailed. Savino Melluzzo scored on the ground and the Warriors defense led by 4 sacks from Adam Baez and 2 INT's from Dawud Hanif shut down Bell City. Dustin Tucker scored the lone TD for Bell City
TIG OLE BITTIES 25 OLD SKOOL 6
The score doesnt look good for Old Skool but the game played closer than the final score. After a slow start in the 1st half, the Bitties began to opull away as they played their first weekend with their regular QB Kerry Palmer. Palmer connected on 3 scores and found TE (and back-up QB) Tim Uhl on 2 of those passes. Uhl also added a rushing TD and Nakiea Riley returned a punt for a TD to close out the scoring.
POOKIES 6 CANES 0
I guess I'm surprised but not shocked......the Canes have become a bit of an enigma, they are very talented across the board and have some veteran leadership but they cant get the offense on track consistently. On the other hand Pookies seems to be playing better each week and are showing signs of the Pookies of old. Rob Saunders provided the only score of the game by scampering into the endzone in overtime for the win. LB Nick Perrillo again led the defense with a sack, batted ball and several big flag pulls. The Canes defense again was impressive as the recorded 11 sacks in the game including an amazing 6 from DE Joey Lane!!
TIG OL BITTIES 12 GATORS 6
T.O.B followed up their early victory with a a very impressive win over the Gators, Corey Newsome rushed for a TD and Palmer threw the other and that was all the T.O.B defense would need in this one. Sacks from James Blanchette and Colin Spooner and a spectacular INT by Raquim Taft kept the usually potent Gators offense at bay.
RAIDERS 14 SHARKS 0
The late game of the day was a bit of a grind for both teams. Defenses were key and the Raiders Rodney Davis stepped up and controlled the line of scrimmage with 3 sacks. RB Reggie Hunter porovided the offense on the ground in the victory. The Sharks are in need of some offensive firepower if they are gonna seeany W's this season
