| Bulldogs vs. Old Skool
This one is going to be a rough way to start the day for Old Skool. Even though it is going to be tough for the Bulldogs to get everyone there that early in the morning, I still feel like they can dominate this game playing ironman football with 9 or 10 guys. Look for Muzz to dominate up front forcing Old Skool into some Costly turnovers. Bulldogs win this one easy and use it as a warm up game for a much tougher matchup later in the day.
Line - Bulldogs -17
Canes vs. Raiders
Somebody made the comment early in the week "Looks like Tarzan, Plays like Jane," ....that pretty much nailed it when it comes to the Canes so far this year. They come out with good numbers looking Big and intimadating but have yet to show us anything to fear. Raiders will Physically dominate this game right from the begining, and their skill guys will be too much to handle. My perdiction, Abbey Johnson puts himself among the top 3 in sacks after this game.
Line - Raiders -13
Bulldogs vs. Chargers
This game should be very interseting. This should be the first real test for the Bulldogs this year. Although the Chargers haven't looked the same as of late, you know they will come out fully stacked for this one, but will Shank's guys have what it takes to hand the Bulldogs their first loss of the season. Both teams have plenty of weapons and that veteran experience, it could really go either way. I see this one coming down to the final play with the Chargers coming out on top in a very close matchup, proving to everyone that they are not all washed up and are ready to make some noise down the stretch.
Line - Chargers -3
Pookies vs. Sharks
This game will be better than it looks on paper. Sharks always come out and play with heart. They have slowly been improving but still have a long way to go. Sharks leader and QB Phil Cushion has been taking this team in the right direction but I just don't think it will be enough this week. Pookies get this win but its nothing to be impressed over.
Line - Pookies -4
Knights vs. Trojans
Clash of the top dogs. This game is shaping up to be a good one. Both teams coming off Tournament performances that they want to put behind them, look for both teams to come out trying to make a statement. The Trojans WR core has been getting mentioned a lot on these boards lately, but the Knights group of wideouts are nothing to look past themselves. Both teams are going to try to air it out, so its going to come down to who can win the battle in the trenches. Who will give Sam and Ish the time to make the completions, as of right now I think I would have to give it to the Knights as they are much more experienced up front. Knights win this first battle, but this is just a preview of what could be a very interesting Playoff matchup later this year.
Line - Knights -6
Warriors vs. Tig Ole Bitties
TOB has proved to everyone that they have what it takes to compete in 9-man. They seem to have made the transition and ready to compete with the big boys. But the Warriors aren't going to just lay down on this one. Rumor has it the the Warriors are mixing things up a bit this week at the QB position showing the league a different look. Personally I have only seen this new offense from them one other time in the Hartford league and it produced a win, so I don't see why it won't work to bring TOB's winning streak to an end. Warriors win a close one and put themselves in a decent position half way through their schedule.
Line - Warriors -4
Gators vs. Bell City
Gators coming of a tough loss after Champ comes on the board saying he is ready to put up $1000 on any game this season. Looks like he spoke just a little too soon. But look for the Gators to pick it up this week and get back on the right track. Bell City is another one of those teams who have slowly been improving but the Gators are going to put it on them. Game will still be close at Half time but WR Kenny Tinney will take over in the Second half put the game out of reach.
Line - Gators -14
Sharks vs. Tig Ole Bitties
Tig Ole Bitties are going to come out the gates firing coming off a close game with the Warriors, Kerry Palmer is going put himself in the talks of Player of the Week with his performance in the final game of the day. He should be able to pick the Defense apart and put up big points. Sharks still winless will be a little discouraged but they'll be back next week because these boys love to ball
Line - TOB -16
