| BULLDOGS (4-0) vs TROJANS (5-1)
These 2 teams currently sit #1 and #2 in the standings and both control their own destiny as far as the top seed in the playoffs is concerned. Whenever the Bulldogs are mentioned you have to wonder how deep they will be as they travel over an hour to make the games. If both teams come fully loaded this may be the Game of the Year not just the Game of the Week.
QB's
BULLDOGS, Mike Cervezzi Cervezzi is as balanced and well rounded a QB as their is in the league. He can pick you apart short, blow the top off your secondary or use his legs and athletic ability to run all over you. Disguising coverages and heavy pressure (be physical) are the keys to slowing him down
TROJANS, Sam Phommachanh Sam is as veteran as they come and combines poise and experience with a lightning quick release that puts the ball in the hands of his playmakers as fast as anyone. Not necessarily a big arm but has the ability to stretch the field. A smart d-line will play a major factor in this one, arms up at the line of scrimmage and blitzing up the middle to get him out of the pocket are keys.
EDGE........EVEN
WR's and TE's
BULLDOGS This is an athletic and fundamental bunch who have played together for a long time. Bartunek, AG, BHall, Lorenti, Correa, and Spencer all can make the big play but the X-Factor id Tyrese Nixon, arguably the best 2-way player in the state he is a nightmare for defenses to cover. Tall, strong and fast will be an interesting test for the Trojans secondary
TROJANS This group may be even more athletic than the Bulldogs. Led by studs CJ Buchannan and Kelleray Gill they force you to split safety help. With Nixon back deep for the Bulldogs it will be interesting to see who gets his attention more and how the other will fare. The key here may be in who isnt here asa pposed to who is. Jeff Norko will be living up to his nickname and catching "sunshine" instead of footballs while on vacation.
EDGE........BULLDOGS
O-LINE
Both lines are solid and as mentioned before, Sam's quick release is as good a protector for him as any lineman. Will Robo be back at center and can he contain the MUZ? The Barrea twins are unique in their agility and ability to handle the speed rush (which the Trojans feature).
EDGE.......BULLDOGS
SECONDARY's
Again very evenly matched as I think the Trojans are stronger at corners with Delroy and Boobie however again the loss of Sunshine softens the middle. With Maurice Lloyd and Nixon at Safeties, you may be looking at the best combo in the league.
EDGE.........EVEN
D-LINE
The Bulldogs front hasnt been the same with the loss of Tishaye Johnson but they are very aggressive and creative with stunts and blitzes which gives less experience lines fits. The Trojans will hit you with speed on the ends from Chris Pino amd Chris Davey but may need to get creative in the middle to get consistent pressure on Cervezzi.
EDGE........TROJANS
PREDICTION.........
BULLDOGS 27 TROJANS 22

| Im predicting 3, they seem to execute 2 pt conversions very well and their defense often puts them in very good field position. It may be slightly lower scoring but not by much, these are very long games and both offenses are very good. The Bulldogs did give up 13 to the Gators and 12 to the Chargers so 22 out of the Trojans (who have the leagues best offense) is not a stretch by any means
