| Hey 6 teams... Follow the schedule for May 31st on the Post.
WE ARE HOLDING OPEN THE FULL SCHEDULE FOR 2 MORE TEAMS. We will post full schedule on Wednesday June 1st.
We prefer to run a 8 team league. $500.00 -14 games and Tourney... and we have a lot of fun in this league. Get a band of brothers, comrades, breakfast buddies....ice tea drinkers, or small group church friends and get it together. Need to know by Tuesday at Noon. CAll 574-607-5717 First come first Serve on this one.
Remember to come early for rosters and such...we are going to upgrade this year... have a midseason tourney for our Missouri wannabe's and have a picnic type atmosphere... You know it is the Good Life and that is why we are calling the Church league that. It is the Life that counts and we know that Baseball is one of the keys to enjoying the day~
Chicago Back Yard Rules are optional by two coaches BEFORE game starts...otherwise all ASA normal rules applied by Umps.
Refresher on Back Yard Rules:
Team Goes up 10 Runs... next batter switch hits until the game goes back to 9 run lead.
So say next 1/2 inning the team scores 12 and you are down 2... obviously you bat normal. Lots of fun with this... and that is why we are out there. Hit a Pitcher above the waste with a Line Drive... take away a run. Hit him above the waste twice...take away 2 runs. Above waste is defined as Elbow to shoulder and Crotch to Head.
