Good topic. First we need to know MVP= most valuable player to his team? or the league? Ive seen it done both ways. I have a short list of guys who have made a difference either to their team or this league.

1. Jon Ish Knights- I see this guy every week and is by far the top QB in this league in every aspect. Having the most weapons in the league helps but without a doubt has got to be at the top of almost every bodys lists. And those numbers are off the charts!

2. Moose Warriors- No impressive offensive stats, but according to the commish plays o line and about every position for this team. One of the top defensive players in the league as well. Taking snaps and beating the bulldogs shows his value to his team.

3. Sam TROJANS- HUGE numbers, and without him the trojans have not looked the same. With many weapons to rival the best especially with CJ, they do not win much without Sam, decision making and quick releases are the definition of his game.

4. Tyreese Bulldogs- Dynamite at WR and Safety positions. game in and game out comes out to ball regardless of whos at QB, genuinly feared by almost every qb when throwing a deep pattern. Solid numbers to go with it. A true game breaker who makes an impact on his team.

5. Joey edmonds Gators - Solid vet who is at the top of the stat cards. Obviously a huge part of a very successful Gator team who beat the Chargers last week. Was playing WR against the knights. What was up with that? but still made plays.

Just my thoughts on MVP. Dont hate lets see what everybody else says.

Just Blaze, BHB, FAN, commish, Ang, Riddle14, Shank you guys post alot seem to know alot about this league. what do u think what do you guys think?

All great players and my man Ish is putting up monster numbers buttt Moose has impressed the shit out of me. He really will play anywhere for his team. And will excel at any of them. Whereever he is needed he goes. How many centers do you know that can switch to qb and beat the undefeated bulldogs? They are 6-2 and can be a possible 2 seed! Moose has no real consistent wr play but still manages to win games. I hope dube comes for rest of season would love to have the teacher vs student matchup! OABKAABK

Can't argue with anyone on that list, they have all been impressive. Chase has taken his team on his shoulders and could add to his case with a big day Sunday. It would be hard to not vote for Ish, take away the first half vs the Trojans and he's had a near perfect season.

Another guy who has mvp possibilities is Rob Saunders of Pookies. After getting shuttout to start the season, Rob and his entire offense have been on fire ever since. He's top 5 in total td's and is a true leader

Honestly that chart looks damn good. I see games every week but I am always sitting on the Knights side line so I may not see all the best players week in and week out.

MVP to me means some one that does it all. Can be a one man army. BUT, is also a huge team played.

I have 3 candidates.

Josh Withee #3 Knights. Kid made the move down here from Maine where the only flag football is played by little kids. He has a metric ton of catches, 5 receiving td's, a punt return and int return. I have no idea how many flags he has but, he is a threat BOTH sides of the ball.

Ish #5 Knights. Ish can't be left out of this discussion. Not much I really need to say about him. He has come a long way this season and goes out and produces time and time again. I was not there for the loss to the Trojans to see how ugly that game was so I can't really comment on that. I just know that when you see the Ish pants, shits gonna happen on the ball field.

Chase AKA the moose AKA Terminator AKA Heart and Soul of the Warriors. You all know this kids story. Came to Waterbury with a team that no one thought would produce. Now they are possibly contending for the #2 seed. GOOD WORK MOOSE. QB, CENTER, BACKER, D-line. Moose can apparently do it all. Who would have thought that? Like Ang said, he may not have the best receivers in the league but he makes things happen. Good job taking the reigns and making things happen. Moose and the Warriors are something that the future of flag in this area need to watch out for.

D MVP for me goes to lucky # 7 in Baby Blue. If you throw a ball his way, you better be ready to try and chase him down when he picks it and heads for the crip. Sean's morale has helped put his team where they are.

Snoog, sorry buddy I don't know your number but I see you. Snoog is heart and soul of the Trojans, comes to play every week and sometimes amazes the shit out of other players and maybe even himself.

Adam Baez of the Warriors. Baez comes ready, hungry for qb's everytime....he shows up. ha ha. I think he is leading the sacks in the league? Not bad for a guy who hasn't been to every game.

O-MVP

Rob from the Pookies is a hell of an athlete. Doing things to help his team every time he gets the ball. Good season man.

OLD MAN #14 From the Knights, aka GET OFF'A ME! Kel is one hell of an offensive player. Blocks, rushes, catches and has a retard strong stiff arm. You would be a liar if you said you didn't want him on your team.

CJ from the Trojans. Guy produces, a lot of talk about him that he lives up to. People know him and his rep, nough said really.

Thats about all I have. Like I said, I am bias to one team in general. Just so happens they produce. If I didn't mention someone it's just because I haven't seen them play every week.

I also think that is a good list. I agree with Ang that Moose has done a hell of a job with everything. Another name I would add to the mix is Rich Kirkland from the Chargers on the defensive side. He has a good amount of picks and has taken half of them to the house. He has also scored td's on offense and on returns. Great list though.

I would also put my vote in for moose for mvp, to me along with tyrese from the bulldogs are the only to guys who can get there team a victory from both sides of the ball but becuz the warriors beat the dogs the edge goes to moose. He goes out there and competes on every play and is definitely the leader of his team. That's a great list however and I don't think there would be an argument with whoever wins they would have deserved it

I watch alot of games and feel a few guys are not being mentioned...

Justin #10 Canes- I know they dont have alot of wins as a team but to me he has been the best all around player this year. I know people might say they dont have many more options but thats why its even more impressive.

Dawund Warriors- All around stats are really good and he has brought confidence and much needed swag to the warriors.

Just my opinion on who else should be mentioned with the other players

Justin has 9 rec TDS 1 Rushing TD & 5 INTs unfortunately do to our record he may not be considered but he has had a hell of a year all around.. Whoevever gets it deserves it.. The league has got some true ballers.. RESPECT 2 all.. O yea best of luck to the Knights out in Hartford this weekend.. Fellas B-EAZY

I also agree with 7, Justin has been an absolute beast on both sides of the ball but our record keeps him out of most conversations and the fact that he's my teammate would've lead guys to say that's the only reason I mention him. If you look at his numbers he compares with anyone and what's more impressive is every week he lines up against the other team best WR.

All these guys are deserving. Very good list. I would make a case for my brother mike (not tom) bartunek for dpoy. he has 6 sacks (but has had like 5 more that were given to others), and makes plays outside of just sacks and plays o line like a monster.

Outside of that I vote for moose MVP. to have that team playing the way he does is great. He plays everywhere and does his thing no matter where he is on the field.

Great year everyone.

ok ok ok, after watching the games sunday pretty closely. my original five is down to three for MVP. Edmmonds was a no show and Tyrese was not a factor in the bulldogs biggest game of the season

- Jon Ish - Knights - showed again why he is on the top offense of the league, some play calling was very good, beating a nearly full strength bulldogs team very impressive. Some throws were fantastic and the numbers are huge.

-Moose Warriors - watched a dominant warrior team against the gators and was immpressed with their standout D player. Shutting out that offense gives stock, while playing offense line apparently his normal position? did not see the charger game but leading the leagues number 2 defense and team is pretty good

-Sam- My old guy lol, a baller even at his age, putting up crazy numbers, he knows how to get the ball to his players (CJ) and with him the trojans are again a contender simple as that, without they just dont have the team, regardless of the studs, Cj norko, boobie etc..

Once again posters of this site, who after this weekends games are on your lists? Commish shank ang Riddle14 ish5knights canes21.

I dont know if Chris is doing this at end of season after playoffs are over then it could go to any of those guys depending on their final finish. But if it is decided before playoffs are over I think it has to go to Ish or Moose. Sam missed to many games and Rob is very good but cant give it to a 5-5 team qb.

Ang u make a valid point but why couldn't it go to a QB who's team is 5-5, I always felt MVP should go to who is most valuable to there team. If u were to take Ish off the knights u guys would still be really good, now if u take moose off the warriors or rob off of pookies they would not be as good. Don't get me wrong if Ish wins I think he would've earned it but I just feel the other 2 are a little bit more valuable to there teams. Otherwise why call it MVP when it can be Most Outstanding Player which he clearly deserves.

So what if a team goes 0-10. They have a qb that has ALL the stats. That makes him MVP for sure then if you go by what you are saying. MVP should go to a competitive team member of a competitive team. Otherwise you should give an MVP per team. Come on.

by the last post's reasoning Sam could be the mvp. Trojans have gotten killed without him, with him they are excellent. He has proven to be the most valuable component of the trojans. however, Hard to not give it to the QB with the best stats, on the best offensive team, and the best team. Ish is mvp.

BHB I expect u to ride with Ish u do in every post u write but ur right u can't give it to a guy who is on a 0-10 team and if a team is 0-10 I find it hard to believe someone would have monster stats anyway. If u really wanna be picky about it I would give it to moose then he has played 3 important positions on his team middle LB, QB and Center. How many guys in the league or on the knights can say that? Like I stated before the award should go to most valuable but if Ish won it wouldnt be wrong either.

21 you obviously don't read all the board. I agree that Moose is a great candidate, if not the best candidate for MVP. Ish is much more of an OMVP candidate. But, like you said, if Ish got MVP it would not be undeserved. Ish has retarded stats and he isn't on a team where he is the only one with good stats. Ish can also play a lot of different positions, he just doesn't because he doesn't need to be at risk. I just have a hard time trying to think about a MVP being from a team that isn't in the chip game. That's all I am really saying.

I think Ish doesn't play other positions becuz he doesn't have to, the knights have a good team with good players at every position. We definitely both agree Ish has monster stats but I don't agree that MVP should come from a person who is in the chip game. So if the knights and warriors were to lose do Ish or Moose not deserve the MVP considering it should be based on regular season performance.(ala Tom Brady last season)

I think that weighs heavy on the outcome.

If the warriors get blown out this weekend does Moose look like an MVP?

If the Knights get beat by the Warriors doesn't that give Moose the edge over Ish?

Sam takes the Trojans on a hot streak and they take the chip, that puts him at the helm right?

This isn't arguing, please don't take it like I'm bitching at you or anything. I just like hearing what other people have to say. Like you said I am bias to the Knights, fallowed by the Warriors, and I know a lot of the Trojans. I am not from here nor do I have a stake with any team. That's why I enjoy posting here, because the only thing I am bias to is WINNING. I'm going to go from BHB to Charlie Sheen soon enough.
