| I think this rule needs to be clarified. Its good we can allow plaayers from other teams to fill in but it seems they are picking up all the best players to make a team of 10. Unless the other team agrees it should work like this. Team has less than eight they can pick up enough to make 9. The team with not enough should have some sort of penalty, a team of eight is not enough, 9 is good, 10 is not fair unless the other team agrees

| FOR THE RECORD:
As former commissioner, I helped draft the rule on adding players.
The rule is, (IF) a team at the time of play, can not for whatever reason field the minimum of 8 players, that team can borrow any player, so long as that player has filled out a waiver form, so as to accomplish the minimum of 8 players.
"NO WHERE" in the rules is it granted that a team may borrow or field non-rostered players to accomplish a full 10 man team.
Hope this helps you to better understand the spirit of why this rule was given consideration.
