| As you know the GCFFA along with the ECFFL (Rhode Island), the HVTFFL (Upstate NY) and the NFFL (Westchester, NY) have all collaborated to form the NORTHEAST FLAG ALLIANCE. With this we have created a regional playofff system for the our area.
The winners and runners-up from each league will meet for one weekend to crown a regional champion in both 9-man and 8-man. Each league has put $1000 into the pot for 9-man and $500 into the pot for 8-man. Also, each league is MCFFU sanctioned and in addition to the points your teams have earned in league play, there will be another 75 points max awarded for this regional playoff. Essentially a team can earn a MAX of 225 pts if they were there league champion and regional champion.
We have also decided to offer 2 At-Large bids, one each to the Champions from the Hartford league (Steelers) and the Albany league (TBD). These at large bids will be offered with buy-ins allowing the teams to then compete for the full prize amount. Currently, the prizes are as follows......
