As many of you know I had back surgery in February to repair 2 ruptured discs in my lower back........well apparently I have done more damage as I aggravated my back again to the point were I am unable to walk. If I cannot walk, I cannot give you guys the best event possible.
So.......I have decided to postpone the King of CT indefinitely. I will be seeing my back specialist on Monday and see how things go. I'm very sorry that this event won't take place THIS weekend but we will have the King of CT tournament soon!!
For all the teams who NEED football between now and the start of fall ball please take a look at the Albany, NY BENEFIT TOURNAMENT being held Aug 6-7. It's a short ride for CTteams and a truly great event.

Ray Long ran a league with one leg. No pun tended. No need to do the kings of CT. young gunz won that title when they beat the kings of ct ( STEELERS) in hartford 2 weeks ago. oh by the way I think you where there. lol. dont waste your time.

what about Shank and the people who normally help u, cant they be there to organize and u run it by phone........fuck the best tourny, we just want to play in a tourny. we understand that if its not the perfect even its because ur in bed for ur back- but teams and fan have been talking and looking forward to this even on this weekend for a while. ppl adjusted family events called out of work and did whatever they had to do to keep this weekend clear for this even and ur post ponning it. whatever happened to "the show must go on" attitude- if u have the teams and the refs, then make it happen- where there's a will there's a way...........lets go chris!!

No good commish there are guys who did take off work and move schedules around to make this happen. Not a good look on your part. Did some digging and the issue was teams. You can think whatever you want, we had 7 teams with 2 more asking for another day to get it together. REGARDLESS, and nothing against anyone else, but I will nevee again run an event from the phone or host an event i cant be there for.......I did it and its not a good look for me or for the teams.
The show will go on, just not this weekend and if you think having ruptured discs is not a major problem you are clueless.

Sorry that was me ^^^, also yes i did know about my back but was hoping with rest (I took the week off of work because of it) that I would be good enough to get this done but it hasn't gotten any better, instead worse. Like all of you I have a family to think about and they come first......if you can't respect that then keep it moving, we know there ate other options out there

First to dudes who say they took off work to be at the tourney I feel u but if this man can't go to work because of his back, do u think a tourney is more important? Second i wouldn't b able to be to run because I wouldn't be able to be out there all day Saturday because I will have my daughter.

Chris, just so you know, I Know exactly who this No Namer is, which was surprising to me considering how quiet this person is on and off the field, he is the true definition of an "Internet Thug" and yes he was in A.C. so I don't know why he was asking if you were in A.C. or not because he actually was in the lobby of your hotel at the same time as you after the games on saturday, so he definitely knew you were there.

I would just like to say that I know for a fact that chris has serious back issues, so I don't think that is a lie. It does bother me that because people are disappointed that this weekend is cancelled makes them inconsiderate or something. Teams pay alot of money and commit alot of time and energy in order to do these events, so yeah they deserve the best product possible. It just seems to me that alot of decisions being made lately (not just the GCFFA either) are profit driven or for personal gain. The customer is always right, haven't you ever heard that before. That's just my opinion. If you feel a certain way put your name up and stand by it, everyone has a right to their opinion.
