TOPIC: Should awards be voted on? |

| In th past, the captains have sought feedback from their teams, but otherwise decided amongst themselves who should win some of our awards. These would include, MVP, Most gentlemanly and Broken stick. Question is: with this fancy website, should we open those awards up to voting? Maybe just do one award that way, maybe the MVP or Most Gentlemanly?

| To test to see if the approach would work at the end of the season, why not start with a POW, Player of the Week Award?
The team reps could put forward a team members name with a short description of the reason why they should be selected and then throw it out for an open vote to see if you get any response from the larger group, plus you would be able to see how to work the vote now rather than waiting for the end of the year.....Mike

| good idea, but I will modify to say Player of the Month. So guys that get lucky with a couple of howitzers from the point got to keep the trend going fo two more games. Then I'd vote for them.

| Yea i agree, player of the week would be great, but player of the month will atleast have a few games under that players belt to really give an honest POTM vote

| Can you have two questions on the main page with the top one reserved for the POTM? I've noticed you have a survey for who will finish with the least goals against, is this where you were thinking about placing the vote?

| It only allows for one poll at a time, but yea that would be the spot for it. Only down fall is that anyone can come on the site and place there vote as many times as they want, so people could spam it.....we will test it out this month and see how it goes
