| Ok... I have to admit that I thought it was going to be a challenging night. The past few weeks have been wins and those wins were by large margins, but fans and players alike felt like there was something missing. It was like a piston wasn't firing just right, or there was a blocked fuel filter in the machine. Everyone on here and in town was trying to put their fingers on it and it appeared that one week the O line had a bad night and the next week it was the defense.
That all was history last night as we witnessed the Rams roll all over WW in the first half and cruised in the second. I was afraid it was going to be a high scoring game on both sides, but our D was like a brick wall and our offense could not be denied. We had 405 total yards in the first half compared to their 34. First Half...
Of course the second half was cruise control in the third and JV vs their varsity in the fourth. I was a little surprised WW didn't stick their second string in there at the end but maybe they felt they needed the work or the score... not sure. But in the end, the Rams left no doubt we were the better team.
Next week, the matchup of the regular season... just like last year. This is the point of the season last year where the wheels sorta fell off. Lets see if the Rams can keep that from happening again as we will arrive at a hostile environment versus a very good football team.
BTW, what was WW thinking by scheduling homecoming night last night against us?

| I thought the game would be a little closer but i thought The Rams would win the thing that gets me about these teams the Rams play that try and run a spread offense (like a West Washington) is that they too me don't try and use all of what they have you will see a million halfback draws out of shitgun that gets barely anything but what do you set that up for? nothing? it seems like their line of thinking is "well we are down 20-0 and it is 3rd and 6 why not run another halfback draw that hasn't worked all night" or they will go a QB draw up the middle to the same result?...anyway enough about the poorly run spead teams...you know this knew "Flex Coast Offense" The Rams have tried to use the past few games has so promise too it I would rather have seen a 10-20 yard TD pass to Phelps instead of a 1 yard TD pass but i'll give it some time to develop don't really like it too much yet (i'm still waiting on that Joe Montana to Jerry Rice drag route across the middle or across the field or the Steve Young to Ricky Watterns seem buster route coming out of the backfield) but the more they open up the more I could like it another thing I would kinda worry about if I were Rams fans and that these games like Dub Dub Crawford or Salem I wouldn't look too much into them because there were back tackling from the other team that caused big runs and that made little runs into big ones I would worry about a game against Mitchell or Valley in where they got bottled up and Shepard and Wilson were taken out of the game you got against a good team with good lineman and they know they can shut the middle down and then release the outside linebackers or safeties on blitzes could be a looong night for the Rams this next game will be a huge game The Rams better bring some power...

| shizz good comments. I did't figure we would have much trouble last night. Our guys are feeling much more confident in their offense and putting up the points. Looking forward to our next game hoping it will turn out the same. (I hope this comment is positive enough for this forum.) Feeling kind of down today and not much more to say.

| It was a great night to be a ram fan. I find it interesting how personel match-up's play out in football. You take us over WW like we did, but had a rough night with mit. or sv., who both had all they wanted from WW. Also kind of wierd Mit. only beat crawford 7-0. Friday nights are interesting in the PLAC. Any how I agree it was a good game and I look forward to a hard fought game this week.

| shizz- Will you plese tell commonsense to leave me out of his comments in the future. I make a positive comment about predicting a win over WW and he makes a negative comment about it. This forum is really beginning to suck. I really don't need this.

| shizz This is my LAST post on this forum. I have enjoyed discussing things with you over the past year or so. Since the personal attacks by some on this forum had gotten out of hand, I've decided there is no need for any of my comments. I'm sure there will be some that say, "don't let the door hit you on the way out." That's ok. I will continue to back the Rams, now and in the future. Our game this friday night will be the toughest test of the season. I base this on their record and the ratings given by Sagarin and CalPreps. I hope this matchup doesn't turn out the way it is being forecast. Agree or disagree, they have a good track record. It depends alot on our mental attitude and how well we play the game. We have taken alot of satisfaction in high scoring games this season with teams who haven't provided much competition. This will be our test. All my best wishes to the coaching staff and the guys on the team. You have a chance to make this year special. But you have to work for it. It won't just come to you. I'm gettin on the "Orange Blossom Special." Thanks shizz.

| I looked up the Sagarin ratings and here are some of the breakdowns ...
Corydon ranks 116th in the state Paoli ranks 136th in the state
Corydon- strength of schedule 280th in the state Paoli - strentgh of schedule 293rd in the state
Corydon predictor rankings are at 114th and we are at 120.
If we go by this, I would suspect this should be a very close game. I'm hoping for a well played, well executed matchup that will live up to expectations, and of course a Ram victory.

| We really need to win the special teams and turnover catagories. That will compensate for a road game hopefully.

| I think this may well be one of the best weeks of ram football to date. Both teams are very good and expect to win. The fans on both sides have to be pumped. I belive it will be a dog fight, and what else could we ask for but a hard fought game against a worthy advesary. If are "engine" runs as well this week as last, it will be an awsome game. GO RAMS!!!!!

| Dutchman: Hate too see a good guy like you leave their post here on this forum you should re consider
As far as the game no Sagarin Ratings needed to know this game will be a close one I just hope The Rams bring the Purple Pain D To the Game if not it could be a loong night I expect too see even more of this "Flex Coast Offense" that I feel will need to be used to move the ball on Corydon....should be a great game
