Boon - you had me a little concerned when you referred to the HAWKS as the falcons...but all is good.

I like the picks and agree with most of them:

Oak Pk vs Harrison: the HAWKS will have a reason to celebrate at homecoming tonight.

Oxford vs Adams: I agree Adams should win this one but wondering if Annesse is 100% after last weeks injury and also think if the weather is as bad as predicted, it will definitely favor a run vs pass game, which could even things up for Oxford.

SF Lathrup vs Stoney: we've played them both and I think Lathrup has more athletes and should win this one.

Farmington vs SF: I agree SF will win but also have a suspicion that the next few weeks will expose Farmington and we'll see what kind of team they really are.

WOW ....I was NOT at the Adams vs Southfield game and did not know Anese got hurt. He is the heart of that running offense for Adams...without him ...the highlander running game will suffer big time ... and he plays D too!! That would swing things in the favor of Oxford who has an explosive graouind game! I hope Toney plays tonight ...I will be there (w rain poncho).

I wasn't at the game either, but was told by a few who were. Apparently it appeared to be a leg injury that occurred late in the 4th qtr and prevented him from returning to the game for their last drive - which is unfortunate because he may have been able to close out SF if he stayed in.

No question he is the catalyst for the Adams team this year and assume they go as he goes. The kid's a gamer though so would expect to see him on the field tonight if possible - unless they feel they can win w/o him and they rest him in anticipation of the Harrison game next Thursday.

Farmington exposed in the coming weeks? Almost anybody would struggle facing Southfield and Harrison in 2 of their last 4 weeks. But Farmington finally seems healthy and their defense is starting to play as a unit. Tomorrows game will be a battle. Should be a great game.

Exposed may be a bit harsh - my point was they had some tougher opponents ahead of them in the closing weeks and we should see what kind of team they are. Agree the SF game will be tough, crossover may/may not be as it will depend on their OAA White position at the time and then closing with the Hawks at Harrison - could have playoff implications for the Falcons going in to week 9.

Farmington played great the 1st half, but it was mostly all down hill from the second half opening kick off. The better, more experienced football team won the game. Southfields weapons and Farmingtons mistakes took over.

Great job Southfield.

I really like what I've seen from southfield this year in the 3 games i've watched. I think they could do some serious damage in the playoffs. They could be big trouble for FHH, DLS or Rice if they get them early, which would probably happen with Rice and FHH. I'd still take FHH though as long as they stay healthy

I agree Harrison and Southfield r forces to deal with for anybody in the state. Harrison still has't played its best game ..... when they hit on all cylinders they will leave everyone in the dust. As to the rest of the White Oxford, Adams and farmington battle it out for 3rd and 4th place all pretty solid teams. Oak Park is probably one of the best 1 n 5 teams in the state ... allright that is stupid sounding but it was fun to say ...now stoney I will leave it alone ... nothing to say really! I still say 4 from the white to go to the playoffs.
