1. Conference record, if tie then...
2. Head-to-head matchup, if tie then...
3. Overall record, if there is a three way tie for conference and two teams have a higher overall record than the overall record of the third team then go back to number two for head to head competition, if still a tie...
4. Play-off points, if still a tie...
5. Coin toss.

Rochester will play either Adams or Stoney Creek based upon the closest record after week 7 in week 8.

If you played a crossover team in week one you cannot play the crossover team in week 8.

More to come...

Why doesnt the OAA Blue get to be involved in this crossover? They are the black and blue division of the OAA and these hard-working teams deserve a shot!

Because the Blue has 9 teams and the White and Red have 8. It is a scheduling issue.

7-1 at worst....

Southfield/Clarkston
Athens/Oxford
only two I'd hesitate not to take the White at this point, and even then, I might take White in these two

The only problem with this setup is if Adams loses to Harrison they will hsvr 3 loses. If Farmington beats Creek that will leave them with 2. And if Southfield beats Oxford that gives them 3. And that could happen.

Lathrup will play RO because Rochester must face Stoney.

Anybody with knowledge of both teams care to give a hypothetical Athens v Oxford preview, other than "stop Line and Athens wins" slant ?

I have no knowledge of Athens outside of what I read on this site and other high school football sites - and while I think I understand your question, I'm not sure what other game plan/comments you would expect to see regarding Oxford. The bottom line is if you account for Line and can contin him to under his "normal" production level (250+ yds rushing and 2-3 td's) then you stand a good chance of beating them. Oxford is certainly much improved from last years squad but at the end of the day, they go as Line goes. Look at their game as Harrison - they "contained" him to about 150 yds rushing and no td's and they got spanked. At this point, IMHO I haven't seen anyone else step up and produce to the level necessary to win if Line doesn't.

Thanks Vince...I TOTALLY get the "stop Line and win" idea, was just curious to learn about Athens and hear where the two teams differ or compare and what might be "keys to the game" type-of-stuff....

I really think Athens is smoke and mirrors. Clarkston had them down 40-0 until they scored on 2 long runs in the closing minuets. They have 2 decent runningbacks and their QB really struggled passing the ball. They have good size
across both lines but not real quick. I think Oxford has the advantage in this one.
