I think you have the cart in front of the horse here. Season still has 2 weeks.

with two weeks left, it gives us a general outlook, and i think jredshirt has a pretty good idea.

Redshirt - nice job on the list. I think there is a sound argument for the players you've selected.

Exchief - agree that the next two weeks will be important ones in determining the fate of some teams re: post season play.

Curious if you have other players in mind - those you don't think should have made the list or those that deserve serious consideration and their play in the next two weeks would determine that?

I'll post a page with the coaches selections as soon as it becomes available. They're usually pretty timely with this.

I think the "voters' have to take a strong look at Mike Schwartz at WR in the OAA Red. He has scored against nearly every team in the OAA and has had multiple 100 yard/TD games.

This guy is a great athlete as he is a 200M and High Jump athlete on Clarkston's track team and probably should have continued his basketball career as he stopped after his JV season.

He has been the silent assassin deep threat all season. He is a very quiet and humble kid. Someone had to speak up for him.

Have too throw in Tony Annese QB for Adams. He would be the MVP on the Adams team...good speed, mobility, and an accurate arm. He has moves u cant teach when running thru traffic or in the open field.

Agree that Annese deserves serious consideration - he was the "Prescott Line" for Adams this year. Only saw Lyles for Lathrup play once - a good athlete but not sure he had an All OAA Team season.
Question - are players only eligible to be recognized for 1 position on the team? If a starter on both sides of the ball as well as spec tms, are they eligible for all?

Well the 2012 football season is a long way off...however, August comes fast and I would like your thoughts on who will be the players we are talking about next year. Now that Tony Annese, Mitch Robinson, Jake Vento and Prescott Line have moved on to college who are the top upcoming 2012 juniors & seniors we will be talking about in the OAA?

A very long way off... I'll hold off until they at least step on the turf for practice. Really looking forward to the 2012/13 season though. Make a difference in next season and hit the weight room gentlemen.
