| I am not sure how refs are identified, but I have concerns.
They don't seem to take pride in what they are doing. At times, it's like they were called the morning of to make some extra cash. They come to the field 8:15/8:30th for an 8am start game. (& the league has the nerve to end overtime??!!) The refs tardiness is causing our games to be extended, weekly! There is more "bird watching" than anything else. Refs talking to the coaches while plays are in progress, missing calls. It's ridiculous! Basic calls they should be making they aren't. There is no consistentcy in refs or calling and they don't seem to always be aware of league rules. Please, can the league monitor refs, closely. They showing up late for games, dock there pay, partially refund teams because it just isn't fair. The least they can do is take pride in what they are doing on the field.
*One last point to make where are the women refs??????? If you need some, let me know. I'd take needed steps to increase our representation on the field, as refs.
Can anyone provide insight into the above? If so, please do. What do you all think? I'm interested to know...
