| Franchise/steelers/cowboys/ oilers all get to play next week but knights have to take a forfiet but there was no vikings down there how is that possible I say they play next week to I know vikings are not scared

| I say what is there to lose the rest of us able to so why not them. I say everybody do doubles. But then raiders lost so they mite say they need a redue. But be honest would ureally want to play 3 games in one day. That is 180 in ref fees. Who real wants to pay that. But what is good cash

A choice was made and we all knew the commish had games that day. We all had choices to play or stay home. So why try and change it again. It's over move on to next week already.

| that shit wuz whack.. u have teams who had key players missing not becuz of jus the weather.. u got lines down, no heat , no phone, cell towers down.. i for one had to find a place for my fam to be settled.. didnt even know fball wuz goin on.. who wants to play teams that are 8 to 9 players deep in that bull shit.. n my squad had a double header.. while no one else played a double header.. but it is wut it is... thats sum bull shit tho!!!.. n for da knights to have to take a loss when the undefeated becuz of that.. thats a cffl bitch move in my opinion.. n im sure the vikings dont want that win like that either... they shouldnt have to take a first loss like that... cash u a cool dude but damn..u want the knights to take a loss that bad... let niggas beat them on the field... do wuts right for the league...

| Well when you have knight texting/calling that the league better not "bitch" up and let teams get away with not playing in the snow I would think they want to play.
When you have knights saying our qb thrives in snow I wud think knights wud show up
When you have the option to reschedule I wud think knights wud reschedule. Knights chose forfeit
When you have 27 players I wud think at least 7 wud show up.
every team showed up... And before the storm I only had "one team" complaining the raiders and evry other team neutral or dieng to.play on sunday... and knights were actualy bragging that they were going to dominate in the snow.
"i" didnt chose anything for the knights. It was warm out and snow on the ground. im stil without power and went thru e ve rything anyone is going thru and sunday was the highlight of the week so far.
Teams have warm weather strengths and teams have bad weather strengths.. Sundau was a stength fot teams who like the snow.. As you see by the turnout...
Knights were bragging how they were going to dominate in the snow up until the day... Actually there was a knight at the field befor me facts!
Your team had ab doubke header on a snow day.. Thats just the role of the dice..you guy dv can keep crying about.it and use the knights as a vice to hide behind your crying but you are the beach raiders not the knights.
I can care less if knights win or.lose and if you realy want to know ask
People cant brag about coming sunday and then be the only team not to show..haahaahaahaa nothing against the.knights but thats funny.
I respect anyone who stayed home. But dont cry about.the decisio.u made to stay home. When you stay home your team forfeits but guess what your family is safe. Be hapy with that.
In life there are consequences for actions.. No one had to come sunday. Eveidently it burns becuz in actuality with lines down, no power etc etc really didnt effect arriving at the field. No one was in.harms way by coming sunday. Games are 70 minutes long not 7 or 8 hours. If you chose to stay home please be hapy you did the right thing for yourself and stop worrying about a flag football game. Lol

| first off my response is to dude who wrote that people had a choice whether to show up or not.. im sayin thats not the case when u have no way to get in touch with anyone.. im not on here asking to replay games and this has nothin to do with what team i play for... im saying im sure im not the only one who didnt know if games were goin on.. had no idea on field conditions or that games were even still being played... thats it.. not really worried about it at all... to those that showed up n played.. good shit...

| I just think it was not a true test when you have to play a double header with 9 guys and people are playing out of position. It was not good conditions and we were playing in ankle deep water. I respect the 2 other teams that showed up and got the wins I just think we got short changed and cash did not give us the option to play any of the games the next week. If I knew that other teams were going to play the games next week I would have tried to reschedule one of the games for next week. Its all over now and we went out like men and tried to fight in the snow and water but I just think next time the teams should have more options and have the right to agree with the other teams to reschedule. No matter who won and lost it was not a good look for the cffl on Sunday all teams did not show up with full squads and playoffs and seeding will be effected by a week of football that could have easily been rescheduled.

All teams have the option to reschedule and dont need to ask the "other" team to do it, so that option was clear..
another fact is that mike you originally called and said your team was forfeiting and then when i was going to call the ygs and cowboys and tell them not to come...
you changed your mind and said i want to see if the ygs come so they will get the forfeit and not your team..
But guess what.. The ygs came, and the game had to be played lol. So the "Chess" strategy didnt work lmao
Did you ask the YGs to reschedule at the start or before the game like the other teams later in the day? no you didnt...You were trying to get the game started asap! to force the ygs to forfeit with too few players. The Ygs only had 8 players and being that you had more players than them on the field.. im pretty much sure you thought that you would beat the ygs... But guess what.. the YGS 8 beat your 11...
The point is since you are bringing this up on the site is that you yourself said you wanted the ygs to forfeit by showin up... this only is sour now because the ygs came.. If the ygs didnt come, you would have had NO PROBLEM taking the forfeit in the same conditions your complaining about "playing" in..
Would you have told the YGS after taking the forfeit do you want to reschedule? no you wouldnt becasue as you told me your intent was to see if they would show up so they would forfeit..
You cant have your cake and eat it too.. As you would have taken the forfeit win if ygs didnt show up.

| i also want to point out that in the summer theres heat.. heat causes power outages too.. heat casues heat strokes and dehydration.
In the Fall/Winter there aree also poweroutages. and in the cold theres hypothermia and whatever esle cold syptoms there are...
The point im making is these "extreme" condition take place in hot and cold weather and if this was "summer" people would choose to show or not to show the same way. Theres nothing differnt but the temperature lol

About rescheduling you told me on the phone in the morning all teams must play or forfeit and raiders, gunz and cowboys where the only teams to play in those bad conditions but it was "a must play for all teams". there where also 2 fields avalible and the other teams could have played on time on the other field so there was no reason to call the last games. After talking to my team i found out that they did not show up because of the weather but because they had no phone service or power at there house so how is that fair to ask me to feild a team when all my team but 9 phone numbers were going straight to voice mail.

| since it started and keeps being brought up on the messageboard ... i say we keep it on the messageboard...
I thought i explained.. when your game was extremely behind schedule you did not ask me or the ygs to reschedule...
The other teams did ask me and their opponents to reschedule AT THE FIELD....
so yes maybe one of the games could have started on time.. but the other game wud have been about 3 hours behind the original time..
If you had done what the other teams did, then maybe it could have happened...
You can play Monday morning quarterback and see what you should have done but it didnt happen..
your team and yourself wanted to start the game with the few yg players, and you did not ask the ygs or myself to reschedule becAuse the game is extremely behind..
ygs HAD 8 PLAYERS AND YOU CHOSE TO PLAY AGAINST THE 8 PLAYERS AND NEVER BROUGHT UP THE OPTION TO THE LEAGUE OR THE YGS...
THE OTHER TEAMS DID
THATS THE DIFFERENCE
And again once you showed up and told me you changed your mind about your forfeit. You would almost be forced to play the ygs because you made them come to the field. You chose to see if the yGS would come and reversed your decision
For whatever reason if it was calling their bluff or not.. You made a conscious decision to show up with the intent to play.
got to the field with the intent to play...
Power, cell phones do not effect the league.. it effects schools, jobs, and people etc etc but in this case the league continued on a sunny day in october.
No one had to show up, theres a 27 man roster.. cowboys showed up with a billion players lol

If you can justify 1. Why it was so mandatory to play 2.Why you didnt cancel. 3.how it was such a good weekend that only THREE out of 12 teams played. 4.Why out of about 320 players in the league there where only about 50 at the field and that included the ones watching not playing then i will drop it but i dont think you have the answers to those. you usually try to divert the questions and start to be sarcastic or turn it into a joke so i am being serious lets here your serious answer to those 4 questions. Is that really what you wanted when you started the league was 3 out of 12 teams to play on a sunday and you consider that a success.

The problem is your team actually "played" the game and now there are complaints.. You dindt "forfeit" and complain..you played the game what is there to talk about? If it was terrible or not for the cffl your team played the game and triwd to take advantage of the ygs.

you only need 9 players to show up and the cowboys had 27 players by themselves so im sure more than %o sjowed up lol.. but who cares who showed up? if you have 7 or 8 players thats all you need.
ast the end of the day your team played in the conditions... which was a sunny day
you could have stayed home or rescheduled..
The big question is are you complaining about the conditions or safety, or are you complaining about losing the game?
becasue everyone was safe and not in harms way... nut not everyone left with a win lol

| What i am complaining about is that i told you we didnt want to show and you told me that i will forfiet if i dont so i had to try to get as many players as possible down there so we would not take the forfiet loss i will replay all the games you said so start considering it. I dont want to take anything away from the teams we played and i dont think they should have had to play either. you told me at the top of the hill that one of the reasons the last games were not played is because marcus and debo got hurt from our teams and it was not safe to keep playing so i dont think they should have been played in the first place. Did i not tell you that my team didnt want to show before the games started?

Explain that the knights "chose" to forfeit, explain that radiers tried to "make" the ygs forfeit
for $125 paid to the other team all games can be rescedhulled... The raiders "chose" not to use league rescources.. The raiders "chose" to try and beat the ygs.. then chose to try and beat the cowboys...
If your safety was at risk, or if the conditions were sooo bad, why were the games played? If my safety was at risk or the conditions were terrible.. id make sure that my team and myself didnt play..
The problem is that it was "reasonable" to play. So you "chose" to play.. You could have done what the knights did and forfeit...
So again i ask, are you questiuoning the health and safety of the players, or are you complaining about losing in conditions your team did not want to play in?
The ygs and cowboys are not complaining at all? why you ask? maybe because they won lol

| The raiders did not want to pay that's the problem. So they thought they could win to save money. My opinion Mike you did a horrible job managing your team. With playlets implications you should have gathers your team told everyone to put up a percentage and payed the rescheduling fee. For being cheap you took a gamble and loss. Now your out of the playoffs.
