| This is an unofficial list from a trusted source. Please note that all rules are not automatically adopted into league play. The main thing to look at here for our leagues would be the possibility of moving to 70' bases. Please feel free to discuss!
Also, please note that there are no additional bans on bats. The only changes on the bat lists was a lesser restriction on senior leagues. However, I have heard, also unofficially, that the consequences of getting caught with an illegal bat have become stricter!
Change Women's SP max fence distance to 300' (Will not affect us.)
All adult SP except Seniors move bases to 70' - effective in 2013
Men's adult SP except Seniors move bases to 70'
(Clarification - Men's Slow Pitch in 2012, Coed and Women's in 2013. Whether or not this will be adopted will be discussed.)
Allow wooden bats made before 2000 to be legal without ASA stamp
Allowing Seniors to use 1.21 BPF bats (SENIOR LEAGUE ONLY)
Clarify knob specifications
Clarify safety "grip" as opposed to "tape" and reduce the minimum coverage to 6" (This means that if you re-tape your own bat, the tape only has to go 6 inches up, rather than the previous 10.)
Reinstate heating of a bat as a manner of altering it's characteristics (No bat warmers!)
Change HR limits in Men's A to 10
Allows the BR to advance beyond 1B only if there is a play made on another runner or there is an errant throw. (A walked batter cannot run to second without these exceptions.)
Clarifies intentional interference with a batted ball a fielder has missed
