| Any new info on when the lights will be fixed? And on a related note the MSBL now has exclusive rights to use Sauget field, so we wont ever be playing there.

| What happened to the lights? You mean fix them because they are low as shit, or did something break

| The lights were vandalized and stripped of their wiring for copper.
And if you cant play under our lights or they are "low as shit" go play MSBL or softball.
I have played under those lights since 1994, have never lost a ball due to the lights.

| Shit I could play softball at the Cahokia facility on the softball field and have way better lights than the baseball field has. Nice operation.

| So...we gotta get that fixed then, eh? I know I could dig up one of the legendary forum conversations but if someone would be so kind to say againwhat's a ballpark figure to replace the whole lighting system so we could have serviceable lights at the park? $5? $20k? 100,000k?
Just wondering.

| Did anyone check JDs bag after the last game of the season? Might be some wire in there.

| Last word was that the church does not want to turn it into their insurance due to a claim already being made on the legion building.
The initial estimate is $5000-$6000

| We continue to have setbacks on lighting situation. The loaner boom lift was damaged friday afternoon prior to us being able to use it saturday. We are going to attempt to try again this saturday May 5. We have electric but have individual lights out. It has been necessary to cancel this weeks nite games. Hopefully, we will have nite games starting May 8.

| I'm sure we have some one in the league crazy enough to climb them poles and change the bulbs. Personally I think Archie can do it without even breaking a sweet.

| It is more complicated than just changing bulbs. Thats why we have an electrician lined up to correct the problem. If the unamed source had access to a boom truck, why not come forward and help, rather than throw bombs. We could put it to good use. Another attempt will be made to correct situation saturday May 12th. I know we lost some dates but some were rained out anyway.
