| The BASE UMPIRE shall be responsible for the following situations:
1) Takes all steals
2) First throw in the infield (unless home).
3) Tag up at second base.
NOTE: Certain circumstances may dictate that these procedures cannot be followed at all times. However, every effort should be made to adhere to these guidelines. In any case, communication with your partner is imperative.
